Core Procurement – Professional Services Category Management - Assistant Manager- Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Seeking a high performing and motivated candidate to join the Procurement team at the USI Delivery Centre, Hyderabad. This Assistant Manager role will be responsible for supporting key internal stakeholders by providing governance-support for Procurement projects globally.

The CoRe Procurement organization was created to drive the Deloitte Global 2020 Strategy by sharing investments and resources to increase our global operational performance, enhance cross-border agility, deliver strategic procurement services, develop talent, enhance operational performance, and mitigate risk.
The Procurement group is seeking an Assistant Manager for supporting interfirm engagement models and the contracting process.
Responsibilities
- Oversee intake processing and workflow coordination to ensure compliance with established procedures for receiving, reviewing, and routing sourcing and contracting requests through ServiceNow.
- Verify that requirements are complete and escalate ambiguous or unclear requests for managerial review.
- Track the status of requests and coordinate necessary approvals across relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate engagement and contract data in ServiceNow and Icertis through effective reporting, data management, and dashboard oversight.
- Support activities such as data entry, data cleanup, and exception tracking to uphold reporting quality and regulatory compliance.
- Produce regular dashboards and reports to inform business operations and support management decision-making.
- Assist with preparing documents, collecting signatures, filing, and distributing contracts, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Professional Services Agreements (PSAs).
- Monitor contract renewals and amendments and contribute to the compilation of provider scorecards.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline intake processes, data management, and reporting activities.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, enhance team communication, and provide onboarding support as needed.
- Liaise with CoRe Procurement team members, business stakeholders and MF attorneys across member firms to improve process standardization.
Requisite core skills
- Strong knowledge of standard category management processes
- Strong knowledge of agreement / contract templates
- Relationship building, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Analytical interpretation and design skills
- Strong data and analytics execution skills
- Strategic sourcing execution experience
- Strong verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of procurement contracts
- Aptitude for learning. Must be able to quickly understand new trends in contracting and category management.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio required
- Experience with contracts in Ariba/Icertis
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- Any graduate/Postgraduateor Paralegal equivalent.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant contracts review/ management/administration experience.
- Experience in shared services and/or professional services environment, with a strong client service orientation (whether internal or external clients)
- Prior experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or process re-engineering particularly on a multi-national basis is desired
Location: Hyderabad
Timings: 2PM to 11PM IST with flexibility to accommodate business needs
