Sr Analyst – GPS FP&A

 The team

The GPS Enabling Areas team provides top notch support to Deloitte’s internal business units by developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while consistently improving our existing collection of systems, processes, and functions.

Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) is a group within a company's finance organization that provides senior management with a forecast of the company's profit and loss (income statement) and operating performance for the upcoming quarter and year

Work you’ll do 

·       Demonstrate Advance Accounting practices.

·       Facilitating approval of requirements with the Functional Leaders.

·       Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis

·       Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis with Quarterly and monthly financial reports.

·       Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

·       Should be able to demonstrate clear understanding of ask and also ask questions without hesitation.

·       Issue identification, explanation, and resolution.

·       Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools

·       Willing to help and assist other team mates as and when needed.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting practices.

  • Advanced written, verbal analytical and communications skills required
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users and leadership
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment
  • Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job

·       Understanding of Financial concept's like Staffed, Managed , DSO

Key Skills

·       Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, PPT and other MS Office skills.

·       Experience in working with reporting tools like Cognos, Costpoint and HANA which enables to provide financial updates

Work Location: Hyderabad

2 PM – 11PM
