Within the Global Consulting Services, the Delivery pillar supports and works with Deloitte Firms to standardize delivery capabilities across their offerings to provide a consistent experience and higher quality to our clients and proactively manage the increasing complexity and lower the risk in our business. The team drives standardization during scoping, estimation, and delivery. The Ascend team is part of Delivery pillar and works jointly with the US Ascend Program team. The team’s key goal is bringing together the best of our firm’s delivery assets and capabilities to our global network through an integrated delivery platform, thus helping our consulting practices achieve consistently high-quality delivery performance.
Overview of the role
The Ascend Product Lead/Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting product management by assisting with user story development, backlog grooming, estimation, prioritization, and sprint planning. This role will be responsible for executing UAT/testing cycles, engaging with technical teams across SDLC phases, and participating in sprint ceremonies and defect reviews to ensure critical issues are addressed while maintaining the defect backlog.
Key responsibilities
• Act as Voice of the Customer (MFs) to ensure features are prioritized, delivered per spec and meet business needs
• Coordinate UAT and testing cycles in collaboration with super users and QA teams
• As a product SME, engage with offering leaders and business community to advise on system features, use cases, and seek feedback for future product backlog grooming exercise
• Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements across SDLC phases
• Participate in QA/Defect Review phase and advise on triaging and prioritizing issues with a goal to ship the product and deliver continuous value to the business
• Support Senior Product managers on product management activities
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates, insights, and recommendations
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and discussions to ensure alignment and resolve any operational roadblocks
Requisite core skills
• Knowledge in emerging technology concepts Gen AI, Agentic, RAG, LLM
• Strong track record in deploying systems with architecture frameworks like micro services, event-driven architecture
• Experience in using various DevOps tools, CI/CD pipeline orchestration, AI/ML ops, Github

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individuals who are accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
• Degree in computer science, engineering or STEM
• Work experience: 6+ years of relevant experience
• Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
• Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
• Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
• Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
