Sustainability Practice – Strategy & Execution: PMO and reporting Contractor

Role Overview:
The Center for Analytics, Insights, and Reporting is seeking a results-driven contractor to join the Strategy and Execution team within the Sustainability practice. This role is critical in advancing data-driven reporting and insights, operational rigor, and process excellence across our sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting various reporting and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver periodic revenue and renewables reporting, as well as support ongoing revenue-related projects.
- Manage and refresh client account investment trackers on a bi-weekly basis; respond to ad hoc refresh requests and support ROI outreach initiatives.
- Analyse large and complex data sets to extract actionable insights that inform sustainability strategies and decision-making.
- Leverage advanced Excel capabilities and data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI) to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Oversee operational tasks, including maintaining and updating distribution lists, coordinating meetings, and managing trackers for new hires and team rotators.
- Standardize and enhance financial tracking and reporting processes; identify and implement opportunities to streamline operations through automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of strategic sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in reporting, analytics and operations management.
- Proficiency in Advance Excel and experience in working with large data sets.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python) is a plus.
