Analyst – Confidentiality and Privacy
This position will support the operational processes of the Deloitte US Firms’ Confidentiality and Privacy (C&P) team. The US Confidentiality & Privacy team is part of the Risk and Brand Protection organization within Deloitte LLP. Key responsibilities of this position are confidentiality and privacy program support including incident management support, inquiry support and monitoring risks associated with confidentiality and privacy.
Location – Hyderabad, India
Normal Business hours – 2 PM to 11 PM (IST)
Qualifications
· Any Graduate
· Any Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
Work Experience
· At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
Work you’ll do
Key responsibilities of this position support driving the strategic agenda related to identifying and mitigating privacy and confidentiality risks for the US Firms. As per the business requirements, a person will need to work on one or a combination of the following activities.
Activities:
Support confidentiality and privacy activities including but not limited to –
· Incident management activities: Upon notification of an incident, take immediate actions to ensure all required information has been received from incident response stakeholders (e.g., Call Center, Information Technology Services (ITS), and Incident reporter., etc.). Review the information completeness and accuracy; identify items for follow-up, conduct follow-up with Incident Response (IR) stakeholders, escalate/coordinate with India and US teams, as needed.
· Update the incident management system and track incident response activities methodically with relentless attention to quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
· Support the preparation of periodic reports and analysis including the capture and update of key incident data needed for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with other internal stakeholders (e.g., Talent, Confidentiality & Privacy leads, Information Technology Services (ITS), Culture Risk, and Insider Threat) as needed.
Operational improvement and team collaboration:
· Collaborate across C&P service areas.
· Provide general support on various projects involving process and automation solutions.
· Assist in the creation and update of artifacts (e.g., recurring forms, templates, tools) to improve efficiencies for rapid response of recurring incident activities.
· Organize and manage central repository for recurring forms, templates and other knowledge sharing documents to enhance efficiencies across US and USI teams.

Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of basic privacy and information security principles and requirements.
- Experience preferably with customer support, customer facing and technology.
· Familiarity with common personal financial information/documentation.
· Risk and compliance experience.
· Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus.
