Billing Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis Work you will do
· Accounts Receivable Analyst
– Ensure 100% quality of Accounts Receivable, AP Vendor and Member Firm Invoices
– Analyze and reconcile the outstanding items, including helping Reconciliation team in dispute resolution
– Responsible for completing the Accounts Payable/Receivables within the required turnaround time
– Assist with all aspects of the AR process. Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve difficult Accounts Payable/Receivables related problems. Ability to read, comprehend and explain (to internaland external customers) firm policies that relate to AR
– Send timely follow-ups to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner
– Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement
– Interact with DTT business areas, FP&A, and MF Reconciliation Teams
· Financial Reporting and Analysis
– Responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned ARs, including reviewing and coding individual expenses/billings, transaction flow, and account reconciliation to ledger
– Create and present executive-level deliverables (reports, presentations, leadership updates, e-mails), typically for DTTL leadership
– Support Finance Manager/Controller with monthly reporting responsibilities, ad-hoc analysis and support on an as-needed basis varying request to Controllers/Finance Managers over and above the day-to-day reporting needs.
– Continuous monitoring of AR aging and coordinate to collect the receivables within the given time
– Moderate to Complex ad hoc analysis and working on real-time cost monitoring environment
– Coordinate and assist with development of complex financial models, when required
– Develop expertise using DTTL reporting tools and systems, such as SAP BW
· Project management
- Help Finance Manager/Controller to drive and work on various project initiatives identified by Global leadership
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of project support materials, such as project plans, tracking documents, meeting notes and status reports
· Teaming
- Need to drive teaming and successfully work in a team environment
- Willingness to share learnings and best practices across the broader team
- Ability to work and interact with US and India Finance counterparts at Management levels
Qualifications Required
- 4-6 years of experience in a financial planning and analysis, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Account Reconciliation, operations, preferably in MNC or global organizations
- MBA Finance / master’s in finance and accounting
- Higher order experience in financial reporting, analysis and client interactions
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication. Must be able to effectively communicate with DTTL Finance team members, internal clients, and all levels of management of the firm
- Understands financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financial and operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms
Shift timings: 11AM to 8PM or 2PM to 11PM
