Client Intelligence – Senior Analyst

DTTL Finance seeks an exceptional candidate to join the CIR Program team. The individual needs to be detail-oriented and inquisitive, with an analytical bent of mind and the curiosity to go beyond the numbers. Individual will support our business leaders to make informed business decisions by providing financial results and business insights. In addition, would support stakeholder relations and troubleshoot stakeholder needs.  The role includes working with US and USI personnel to create deliverables for key stakeholders.

 

Work you’ll do

Service delivery

As Senior Analyst, you will interact with the client program team, industry and sector leaders to provide business insights and various financial reports. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaborate with a diverse group of talented finance professionals while utilizing our cutting-edge financial tools and technology. Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Independently prepare, review, and deliver monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc dashboards and leadership-ready presentations for stakeholders.
  • Provide clear analytical insights and narrative on performance drivers, variances, trends, and implications; tailor outputs to senior stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of engagement revenue and margin key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Design and maintain effective controls to ensure data accuracy and completeness; proactively investigate issues and drive resolution.
  • Identify, implement, and sustain process improvements to enhance speed, precision, and consistency of client analysis (including standardization and automation where appropriate).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for aligned business areas and/or projects; act as a go-to resource for definitions, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate openly within and across teams, sharing ownership, aligning requirements/definitions, and communicating progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Take ownership of multiple deliverables, prioritize effectively, manage competing deadlines, and ensure timely, accurate completion with minimal supervision.
  • Design and build complex financial models as needed with minimal guidance; synthesize results into clear recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Train and coach analysts and new hires on business processes, reporting standards, and tools.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze member firm financials, including profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet, and headcount, to support performance reporting and insights.

  • Build relationships within the Global Finance organization to establish meaningful connections across for professional growth.

The DTTL Global Finance Group supports DTTL and member firms globally with financial reporting, analysis, and related strategic projects. Qualifications required

  • ·       4 - 6 years of experience in reporting and analysis.
  • ·       Graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
  • ·       Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance / Master’s in Finance and Accounting related fields would be a plus.
  • ·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for analysis and leadership-ready reporting.
  • ·       Strong attention to detail with keen interest in data analytics and visualization; able to interpret trends and drivers.
  • ·       Ability to work independently across multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • ·       Effective interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills (written and verbal).
  • ·       Working knowledge of financial accounting (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and common financial/operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) used in professional services.
