Deputy Manager – Client Intelligence Reporting (CIR)

Work you will do

Service delivery

Client reporting and analysis

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted business advisor for end-to-end processes.
  • Make informed decisions on complex, cross-functional issues involving global teams.
  • Lead and deliver strategic projects from USI with adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and expand opportunities for CI reporting across Global Finance.
  • Provide exceptional stakeholder service with accurate financial operations reporting and analysis.
  • Proactively manage risks, escalating project-related issues with mitigation plans.
  • Resolve complex queries involving global teams such as SWIFT, Jupiter, CDMS, and GTS.
  • Understand and advise on technology process requirements, representing business needs.
  • Analyze stakeholder information to drive innovation in CI applications.
  • Collaborate with Global Growth and C&I teams to enhance reporting capabilities and stakeholder value.

Project management

  • Support business leaders in driving and executing project initiatives as identified by Global Leadership.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations through prompt communication, clear expectation-setting, and proactive mitigation of surprises or delays.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by engaging with DTTL professionals at all levels with professionalism, a positive attitude, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

  • Act as a trusted business adviser to Finance leaders by delivering value-added insights on critical business issues.
  • Continuously seek and implement automation opportunities and process improvements.
  • Oversee the team mailbox, ensuring timely and organized responses.
  • Ensure business documentation is current through regular reviews and updates.

Stay relevant and continuously upskill in the areas of business, leadership, technical and communication; implement / demonstrate learnings in day-to-day business and impart to colleagues.
  • Take collective responsibility for the team's successes and failures, foster a culture of continuous learning by creating educational opportunities and sharing best practices, create an impactful learning culture where team members can grow and develop their skills. Conduct comprehensive performance evaluations, clearly communicate goals, expectations, and feedback; provide constructive feedback, guidance and support to team members, actively participate in their professional development; conduct regular check-ins with team members, address issues / conflicts promptly and provide regular feedback and progress to the team / business leads; cultivating a culture of recognition to boost morale of the team, drive efforts in hiring the right talent and be an integral part of retaining top talent.
  • Be the next in line for the manager / team leader, a bridge between team and the managers & above and establish as an advisor for the business, build procedures to ensure business continuity; and focus on identifying and developing potential next-in-line for the business.
  • Set a clear vision by guiding, inspiring, and earning team members’ trust and respect through effective communication, integrity, and leading by example.
  • Identify and address conflicts and disputes in a constructive manner involving active listening, facilitating open dialogue, and finding mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Demonstrate a problem-solving mindset, be able to objectively analyze and evaluate information, identify patterns and connections, address complex challenges; make informed decisions considering the broader context and implications of decisions.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve challenges or issues in a systematic and effective way weighing in pros and cons.

Qualifications required

  • 8–10 years of experience in research, analysis and quantitative aptitude.
  • MBA or a graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple strategic projects while maintaining rigorous quality checks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for analysis and leadership-ready reporting.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with keen interest in data analytics and visualization; able to interpret trends and drivers.
  • Understanding of client engagement/account data and how account leaders use data to manage performance, risks, and priorities.
  • Strong Change Management Experience, ability to learn and work with multiple systems and tools to analyze and resolve business problems.

Preferred

·       Knowledge in VBA, SQL, data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau/Qlik Sense preferred.
