Business Operations & Integration (BO&I) Risk Management team – Manager, Deloitte LLP
Be a change agent to lead strategic Quality and Risk Management initiatives for cross-business Operate enabling the businesses to enhance standardization, build consistency, and enable growth.
Work you’ll do
As a BO&I experienced manager, you will lead strategic quality, risk, and delivery excellence programs and initiatives (“Risk Management” or “Risk Management Programs”) to enhance cross-business standardization, growth and operational efficiency for the US Operate businesses (Green Dot-level). Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive and design Risk Management ideas and solutions aligned with the cross-business objectives for our cross-business Operate services – vision setting, storyboarding, deriving value-add insights from multiple data sources, leadership presentations, business cases and POVs, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-business stakeholders to identify and execute Risk Management Programs aligned with the strategic priorities and goals
- Facilitate cross-functional Operate teams to institutionalize Risk Management Programs and technology Risk Management solutions
- Manage and report on the progress and impact of Risk Management Programs to the cross-business Operate leadership teams
- Liaise with cross-business Operate leadership teams to identify and monitor cross-business potential risks (current and emerging) and assist them with reporting on risk exposure to senior management and the Board
- Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio risk dashboard of Key Performance Indicators (both lead and lag) to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across Operate services
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research for Risk Management priorities to support cross-business Operate leadership teams in making strategic decisions
- Facilitate collaboration among various teams, including business, finance, operations, the Office of General Counsel (OGC), independence, and function-specific Quality and Risk Management (QRM) teams, to integrate Risk Management best practices across cross-business Operate portfolios
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to elicit productive discussion on Risk Management Programs that help chart the path forward
- Identify successful Risk Management practices within specific functions or teams and strategically implement them across the cross-business Operate services

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8-10 years of experience in leading enterprise-level risk management and quality initiatives in managed services, operations services, or outsourcing areas
- Strong familiarity with the Risk Management methodologies and frameworks: Proven track record in designing, developing, and institutionalizing quality, risk, and delivery excellence programs and initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential risks, and develop effective solutions; analyze information and design innovative paths forward
- Build strong cross-business relationships; influence key stakeholders, foster trust and collaboration, and interact with all levels within the firm, including leadership
- Bring thought leadership and quality insights to shape solutions
- Synthesize complex information and build narratives for an executive audience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field
- Experience with relevant Risk Management certifications (e.g., CMMI, Six Sigma, ITIL, NIST) is preferred
- Experience in a leadership role and familiarity with Operate services within a professional services firm
- Proven ability to create and implement innovative Risk Management solutions that proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across organizations or multiple portfolios
- Experience in implementing client-centric Risk Management solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Familiarity with Operate services, digital transformation and innovation strategies
- Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics
