Work you’ll do
Service Delivery
• Oversee the Overall Payroll Process, especially key Payrolls like Bonus and Merit increase.
• Assist with both internal and external Payroll Audits.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
• Ensure Payroll Procedures are documented are up to date.
• Ensures clear assignments to payroll team members.
• Play the role of an SME / KT lead / Transition Lead
• Capability to train the team and make them ready for Ramp up phase.
• Manage project initiatives.
• Co-ordinate & lead between client, onshore and India teams
• Collaborate with internal Stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient payroll operations.
• Communicates regularly with key stakeholders (site leaders, HRBP’s, Payroll Leadership) on team needs, operational planning and execution, and assists in problem resolution
Operational Excellence:
• Provide guidance to executives on changes in way of working due to operational excellence initiatives
• Take transition of new processes / variations and create SOP’s
Governance:
• Work closely with executives to provide information required by Managers for queries/issues raised in governance forum
People Related Skills:
• Supervisory Role
• Provide performance assessment for junior professionals.
• Represent coachees effectively during appraisals.
• Drive status reporting and quality processes within the project
Attributes Required:
Qualification
• Any Graduation/Post Graduation course
Experience
• AM- 9 to 13 years (relevant experience in Payroll Operations)
• DM- 13-16 years (relevant experience in Payroll Operations)
Technical Skills:
• Should have extensive knowledge and hands on experience on US Payroll domain and processes.
• Should have extensive experience in Oracle/SAP/Workday HCM cloud payroll application.
• Should have strong understanding of process KPIs.
• Strong experience on SLA/KPI reporting for external and internal stakeholders.
• Experience of managing teams and leading teams
• Good to have transition experience and well-versed with all the transition documents.
• Knowledge on measuring and maintaining the Process Quality and accuracy.
• Should have good understanding and some exposure to process improvement initiatives or levers (RPA, AI, automation, standardization, elimination etc.)
Soft Skills:
• Efficient in Time management to maintain a balance in emergency situations.
• Good verbal and written communication skill with emphasis on Business communication to interact with internal team and external clients.
• Good knowledge in team handling with Problem solving capability.
• Ability to guide and train the team members.
