Within Global Consulting Services, the Delivery pillar leads and empowers Member Firms and other Global areas to drive service delivery transformation and improve client delivery quality and efficiency.
Overview of the role
The Ascend Enablement sub-pillar is focused on enabling the Member Firms to adopt Ascend and its components as they are rolled out globally. The professional will be focused on developing reports and reporting solutions (i.e. streamlining reporting processes, improving efficiency, and supporting automation initiatives). Ensures the accuracy and reliability of business reporting by troubleshooting data issues, maintaining reporting tools, and optimizing workflows.
Key responsibilities
Report Development and Optimisation
• Develop and maintain reports to support the operational and strategic needs of the Ascend Program.
• Streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.
• Support automation initiatives to enhance reporting workflows and reduce errors.
Data Accuracy and Troubleshooting
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of business reporting by identifying, analysing, and resolving data issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks on reporting tools and workflows to maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with data owners and technical teams to address data discrepancies and ensure consistent reporting outputs.
Dashboard Creation and Maintenance
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards to visualise key metrics, trends, and insights for stakeholders.
• Customise dashboards to meet the needs of different stakeholder groups, ensuring clarity and usability.
• Continuously enhance dashboards by incorporating feedback and leveraging best practices in data visualisation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with Enablement Leads, Member Firms, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on reporting best practices and ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on the use of reporting tools and dashboards.
Process Optimisation and Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to optimise workflows and reporting processes, leveraging automation and innovative solutions.
• Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in reporting and data visualisation, applying them to improve reporting solutions.
• Document reporting processes and maintain organised repositories for reporting tools and dashboards.
Requisite core skills
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining reports and reporting solutions, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
• Strong core consulting skills – i.e. research, financial analysis, business writing, including logical data structuring and proficiency in storyboarding techniques to derive meaningful insights
• Strong technical expertise in Tableau and Power BI, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain dashboards that provide actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, identify and resolve data issues to ensure reporting accuracy and provide meaningful insights to various stakeholder groups.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools, with experience in automation and workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to create user-friendly dashboards for diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI, including dashboard creation, maintenance, and optimization.
• Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Demonstrated success in streamlining reporting processes and implementing automation solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting data issues and maintaining reporting tools in a complex organizational environment.
• Familiarity with reporting requirements and workflows in a global or matrixed organization, preferably within a transformation program like Ascend.
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
• Work experience: 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong track record in reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence roles.
• Location: Multiple Locations - Hyderabad/Bengaluru
• Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
• Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
• Hybrid working: The individual is expected to come to the base office location at least 2 days a week as per the hybrid plan
