Within Global Consulting Services, the Delivery pillar supports and works with Deloitte Firms to standardize delivery capabilities across their offerings to enable consistency and higher quality in client experiences while proactively managing complexity ad risk in our business. The Global Delivery Network team is part of the Delivery pillar. The Global Delivery Network (GDN) is critical for our ability to serve clients globally, amplify competitive positioning and fuel network growth aspirations

Our Global Delivery Network is undergoing a multi-year transformation to design and implement the optimal Global Delivery Network (GDN) operating model and footprint for the future to achieve a GDN adoption increase of 10 percentage points to ~45% by FY29. The Consulting Services GDN team works closely with Member Firms and Delivery Centers to accelerate our transition focused on three priority areas: Drive Adoption, Enhance Interoperability, and Evolve our Global Delivery Network.
Overview of the role
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. We are seeking a person with at least 7+ years of experience in the internal or external consulting/market insights/strategy development space with strong project management, analytical and writing skills, and an excellent command of the English language.
The professional will work closely with the Global Delivery Network team, alongside colleagues and senior leaders from across the globe, to support the ongoing evolution and interoperability of our network and increase adoption of the Global Delivery Network across our Member Firms. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting business, as well as our offerings, and asset. The professional will also be responsible to develop executive-level briefing and recommendations based on the strategic initiatives the GDN is driving. The team’s projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility aligned to the strategic priorities of global Consulting leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and provide oversight to the India teams’ operations
- Own, plan, and manage key strategic projects, which may include collaboration and coordination with a variety of stakeholders
- Partner with senior leaders and their teams to drive global alignment around strategic priorities
- Help leadership in making strategic choices and drive and support launch of new initiatives
Demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly coordinate/switch between different workstreams
Demonstrate and apply strong knowledge of management frameworks
- Support operational needs of the team, including contributing to developing team resources, and helping to grow a high-performing multi-geography team
- Actively share best practices among Global/US and India team members
Requisite core skills
- Prior experience in team leadership activities including recruiting, performance management, and coaching
- Strong planning and program management skills, with the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with many competing priorities
- Excellent core consulting skills – i.e. analysis, research, synthesis, modelling, presentation, including logical structuring and storytelling, superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills and experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams, and senior leadership
- Self-motivated, innovative, action-oriented team player with ability to manage upwards as well as lead and coach junior team members
- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
- Capable of responding quickly to high priority deadlines and ability to easily adapt to a change in direction
- Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and adept at pre-emptively identifying potential challenges, proposing mitigation strategies, and implementing them
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teaming skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence superiors and peers in a large and complex global organization
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA
- Work experience: 9+ years of relevant experience
- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy
- Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
- Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
