Overview of the role
The professional will work with the colleagues and senior leaders across the Global Consulting Services practice. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business. They will demonstrate strong analytical and business writing skills. The team’s projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligned to the global firm and Consulting Services leadership’s strategic priorities. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.
Work you’ll do
The professional will help to accelerate execution of our Global Consulting Services strategic agenda by delivering high impact strategic projects, simplifying, and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways. The professional will drive the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize outcomes, demonstrate strong analytical and business writing skills, offer team guidance including project reviews, and develop impactful narratives with recommendations based on research and analysis. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.
Key responsibilities
You will make an impact by working with senior leaders on the following:
• Operate in cross-functional and geographically diverse team and effectively deliver on strategic priorities, including reporting, analytics, and operational priorities with evolving business needs
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management by communicating status, risks, issues, and recommendations proactively, while managing expectations across a global, matrixed organization
• Own defined programs or workstreams end to end, managing timelines, deliverables, dependencies, stakeholder inputs, and follow-up actions to drive accountability and progress
• Own and deliver recurring global reporting across assigned Offering Portfolios, including performance, financial, pipeline, capability, and related business metrics, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
• Consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems and sources, applying agreed definitions, rollups, and treatments to produce reliable and decision-useful reporting
• Gather, analyse, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate reporting and operational processes, while addressing data quality issues and driving continuous improvement
• Respond to ad hoc leadership requests for data, analysis, rankings, and tailored views, delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced and global environment
• Prepare materials for leadership reviews and operational forums, including agenda content, milestone tracking, action logs, and risk or blocker escalation as needed
• Support portfolio-level operations through planning, tracking, and execution of recurring and ad hoc initiatives, ensuring coordination across workstreams and timely delivery against strategic priorities
• Demonstrate robust project management skills, to manage multiple core projects effectively across multiple workstreams
• Develop leadership-ready commentary, presentations, dashboards, trackers, and analytical outputs using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint to support executive decision-making
• Contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation, and team enablement, and provide informal guidance or review support to junior team members where appropriate
• Report/work under the leadership of the Senior Manager/Manager, US/USI
Requisite core skills
• Proactive, self-motivated professional with significant experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Skilled at navigating ambiguity, anticipating challenges, and implementing effective mitigation strategies
• Demonstrates critical and strategic thinking, robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Confident decision-maker with persuasive communication skills, able to challenge, negotiate, and drive outcomes
• Capable of structuring work and engaging with a broad network of CoSs, program leads and managers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate analysis into clear, actionable messages for various audiences
• Advanced project management skills, with effective and efficient usage of MS Office applications and GenAI tools
• Experienced in financial analysis and data analytics (MS Excel), consistently seeking innovative tools and approaches for enhanced reporting and business insights
• Track record in budget management and related key activities aligned to organisational offerings
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
• Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA
• Work experience: 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy
• Location: Hyderabad
• Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
• Work hours: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (expected to be flexible with time zones)
• Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
