Overview of the role

The Manager will be a key member of the Portfolio supporting leaders and teams in the execution and operations across the global strategic plans and priorities. The professional will act as a strategic enabler and advisor to the Leaders, by orchestrating and executing essential strategic projects. They take the helm in managing executive leadership engagements, ensuring seamless integration across a broad network that includes PPMDs, Chiefs of Staff (CoS), delegates, and stakeholders. The professional will help accelerate execution of strategic agenda by delivering high-impact strategic projects, simplifying and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the complex challenges.

Work you’ll do

The professional will help to accelerate execution of our Global Consulting Services strategic agenda by delivering high impact strategic projects, simplifying, and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways. The professional will work with colleagues and senior leaders across the practice. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business, strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends, and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. They will drive the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize outcomes, demonstrate strong analytical and business writing skills, offer team guidance including project reviews, and develop impactful narratives with recommendations based on research and analysis. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.

Key responsibilities

You will make an impact by working with senior leaders on the following:

  • Lead key strategic projects for the portfolio business – identification of key business needs/areas requiring support, conducting data driven analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues across DTTL, Global Consulting Services, and Member Firms
  • Experience in work related to budget management and track the budget progression on a monthly basis
  • Partner with senior leaders and their teams to drive global alignment around strategic priorities and support launch of new initiatives
  • Provide delivery support to the identified initiatives to advance growth plans for the portfolio
  • Demonstrate solid project management skills, taking ownership of core projects to ensure that the project is managed effectively across multiple workstreams and respond timely to often time-critical requests of senior leaders across the portfolio
  • Lead a cross-functional and diverse project team across different geographies, coaching team members to foster their skills, enhance impact and effectively deliver on strategic priorities

  • Confident decision-maker with persuasive communication skills, able to challenge, negotiate, and drive outcomes.
  • Capable of structuring work and engaging with a broad network of CoSs, program leads and managers.
  • Adapts leadership style to effectively engage with diverse executive leadership and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate analysis into clear, actionable messages for various audiences.
  • Advanced project management skills, with effective and efficient usage of MS Office applications and GenAI tools.
  • Experienced in financial analysis and data analytics (MS Excel), consistently seeking innovative tools and approaches for enhanced reporting and business insights.
  • Track record in budget management and related key activities aligned to organizational offerings.



Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing

We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. 

  • Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA   
  • Work experience: 9+ years of relevant experience 
  • Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy 
  • Location: Hyderabad
  • Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones 
  • Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST (expected to be flexible with time zones) 
  • Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
