Position Summary
Level: AVP
As an AVP at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of project scope, delivery, timelines, stakeholders, budget, issues, risks, and quality. This includes overseeing project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues as they arise, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Work you’ll do:
The Finance Shared Services Transition Program Manager oversees the full lifecycle of finance process transitions into a shared services model, ensuring smooth migration, stakeholder engagement, and risk management to meet business goals. Responsibilities include leading large-scale programs, developing project plans and budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams. The role acts as the main contact for business units and leadership, facilitating updates and executive reporting. Key duties involve managing process mapping, compliance, cutover, and stabilization. The manager identifies and mitigates risks, resolves issues, and captures lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and support further transformation and automation efforts.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• 14+ years’ experience in finance shared services, transitions, or program management.
• Proven track record leading large, complex transitions (preferably in a global environment).
• Strong knowledge of finance processes (AP, AR, GL, FP&A, etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification preferred
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred) from an accredited university
