Job Title: Manager – Talent Risk & Relations

The Team: Talent Risk & Relations focuses on employee risks across all levels caused by either behavioral or external factors (e. g., investigations, consultations, and crisis matter). Talent Relations brings specialized skills and an integrated approach effectively addressing employee risks and people issues.
What work will you do:
- Understand, interpret, and resolve complex talent relations issues and mitigate risk to the firm and professionals.
- Investigate policy violations, behavioral misconduct, harassment, and low performance related issues.
- Act as a member of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and / or support the ICC in investigations and provide administrative support.
- Exhibit strong analytical and research skills, and communicate findings and solutions related to investigations.
- Partner with Talent Business Advisors and Business Leaders to understand and address challenges and issues. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to Business Leaders and other Talent Channels on employment risk, investigation process, potential legal risk, and issues of fairness and discrimination.
- Use case management system to log, track and process Talent Relations cases for self and team.
- Identify trends and recommend interventions and programs to reduce risk and incidents.
- Facilitate training programs and awareness sessions in online and classroom mode covering topics like Code of Conduct, appropriate behavior, and policy awareness.
- Manage Background check related case queue, assign cases to TR - Analysts and provide guidance on various background check components and risks.
- Provide leadership during crisis situations and manage medical accommodations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders outside the Talent channel, like Office of Security, Office of General Counsel and Talent Acquisition.
- Provide coaching and guidance to TR – Analysts.
Qualification, experience, and competencies required:
- Master’s degree in human resources / Personnel Management / Social Work.
- Overall experience of 8 to 10 years with a minimum of 6 years in Talent Relations / Employee Relations role.
- Good understanding of the POSH act and functioning of the ICC.
- Experience in investigations, grievance handling and crisis management.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to network, manage ambiguity and appreciate different viewpoints.
- Passion to build relationships and collaborate.
Preferred:
- Awareness about new technologies and usage of AI in talent systems and processes
- Understanding of social media - role of social media in modern workplace and influence on employee behavior & experience
