Senior Analyst – Learning Insights Team

Work you’ll do

As a Senior Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in business intelligence, analytics, and L&D best practices to deliver high-impact reporting and insights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, analyze, and optimize data processes, structures, and models to support L&D initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and maintain BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, Power Query, and other tools.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reports and dashboards, integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to assess data structure, content, and quality.
  • Deliver routine and ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business teams and system analysts to review, understand, and refine requirements.
  • Train end users on new reports and dashboards, ensuring adoption and effective usage.
  • Apply agile project management principles to deliver high-quality solutions and exceptional client experiences.
  • Manage escalations and process concerns, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with privacy regulations in all analyses and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and align individual goals with the overall business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Learning Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or analytics role, preferably supporting L&D or Talent Development functions.

Skills

Required:

  • Strong experience with BI tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to perform complex queries involving multiple tables and subqueries.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse and data cube concepts.
  • Experience in data modeling, extraction, and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email etiquette.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize time and tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
  • Experience in strategic planning and resource management to deliver planned results.
  • Ability to interact with internal clients and provide strategic solutions to business challenges.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI) tools for content creation or L&D automation.
