Work you’ll do

The current opening is for a manager who works across US and USI teams to deliver learning and development solutions that focus on market differentiation, leading talent experiences, and process improvements. The scope of work for this position will cover

1)    Partnering with learning and development team members to gather inputs and create strategic presentations for senior leaders regarding learning and development initiatives.

2)    Continuously evaluating internal team processes with a lens towards efficiency, increased usage of AI tools, and consistency.

3)    Delivering work products focused on building impact and relevance to business needs by gathering and enhancing efforts based on learner feedback and business recommended changes.

4)    Collaborating with SMEs and US and USI stakeholders to develop, update, and deliver program content, ensuring that it is relevant and effective when appropriate.

5)    Promoting a culture of collaboration and agility within a team environment, bringing out the best in each person.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Vision:

o    Work with Learning Leads and key business stakeholders to outline a learning and development strategy for key processes (e.g., faculty management, vendor management, intake & prioritization, compliance, learning requirements) across US and USI teams.

o    Provide input into the annual plan and budget to execute relevant learning and talent development activities as needed.

o    Create executive level presentations to be used in senior leader discussions.

Program Management:

o    Work with a team to plan and coordinate development programs and solutions, partnering with the business, vendors and HR teams as appropriate.

o    Continuously identify opportunities for efficiency (e.g., implementation of AI tools, curation of processes) in all aspects of program management to help in scalability.

o    Ensure excellent practitioner experience through delivery and seek feedback regularly to determine ROI.

o    Partner with the Talent Services teams to use best-in-class core talent development processes for communications, classroom delivery, metrics, reporting, and solution support.

o    Manage and support curriculum maintenance and cataloging working across multiple teams.

Communications, Metrics, and Reporting:

o    Draft communications that can be used both with the internal team and those that are used with business stakeholders.

o    Ensure appropriate compliance needs such as CPE, Ethical Learning, etc. for the learning and development curriculum.

o    Use learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published and leveraged for decision making.

o    Demonstrate initiative in gathering feedback and data from practitioners, improving learning and development programs, and constantly moving learning to the next level.

o    Work in partnership with the Delivery and National Evaluations teams to use standard metrics and develop any unique measurement requirements for projects.

o    Produce metric scorecards for learning initiatives as appropriate.

Design

o    Provide input into the development and maintenance of learning and development roadmaps to build and deliver required capabilities.

o    Partner with SMEs and US/USI teams to ensure training materials (e.g., Specialists curriculum) are most up to date.

o    Continuously look for new ways to bring leading edge technologies and concepts to enhance the learning of practitioners.

o    Lead the design and delivery of uniquely offered learning programs in the business as needed.

o    Work on building learnings and development journeys for the end-to-end development of the practitioners (e.g., course mappings, skill mappings)

o   

People Management

o    Drive the performance management process and development strategy for team members through regular coaching and mentoring

The key job accountabilities include the following:

·       Operational excellence – client satisfaction, information and reporting, quality of services and work products, timeliness and efficiency - assessed through observation, manager and client feedback

·       Financial management – Financial planning for responsibility area, managing period wise variance between reforecast and actual to within +-10%

·       Team management – support engagement, performance management, development and retention of the assigned team members – assessed through observation and team feedback

·       Management of issues, risks, and continuous improvement – assessed through event-based observation

The Team

In our US India offices, the Learning & Development team supports capability development, professional networking and career progression for the region's professionals. The team specializes in connecting the dots between internal and external team members to provide a wholistic learning solution to business and come across as one.

Qualifications

Graduation: Any graduation degree

Post-graduation: DTD (ISTD), MBA/ PGDBA/ PGDBM or equivalent degree

Experience:

Overall 10+ years of progressively complex experience in Learning and Development/Talent Development in matrixed organizations focused on international markets.

Experience in overall training process management, training needs identification, learning strategy and design (especially for technology-related programs), vendor management, project management, cross-border stakeholder management, financial management

Job location: Hyderabad

Work Model – 2 days’ work from Office, 3 days work from home

Timings – 2pm to 11pm IST as support hours. (3:30am to 12:30pm EST)

Preferred skills:

·       Must be able create business value of Learning initiatives

·       Action Oriented with focus on delivery and timelines

·       Strong communications and presentation building skills (e.g., MS PowerPoint)

·       High Customer orientation, excellent interpersonal skills and project management

·       Strong orientation towards contemporary trends in adult learning, and training. Demonstrated ability to put theory into practice

·       Analyze Data in order to unearth performance gaps and validate hypotheses. Strong proficiency in using MS Office tools, including MS Excel

·       Strong orientation towards and understanding of contemporary technology trends in general, and technology related training in particular

·       Familiarity with learning technologies—ability to independently work with cutting-edge technologies and enable their quick and wide adoption in the space of learning
