Industry Institute addresses knowledge and skills development to enable business performance and the growth of our professionals in their clients’ industries and sectors. Industry Institute aims to serve professionals at all levels by partnering with Business and Industry stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and address ever evolving knowledge and skill needs in the marketplace as a competitive advantage.
Work you’ll do:
Serve as a manager, enabling professionals to develop industry-specific capabilities across industries, with a focus on ensuring the team’s work aligns with strategic business objectives and priorities. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Deloitte leaders and internal clients to design and define the Industry learning strategy and L&D vision for the portfolio/program.
- Apply critical thinking, data-driven analysis, and design thinking throughout the learning lifecycle to identify opportunities, address complex problems, refine solutions, and measure impact.
- Define impact measures and measurement strategies that align with business goals, including data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting to senior management.
- Manage L&D investment through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management; track program/portfolio costs and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Partner with other Talent and G&D teams, as well as internal and external subject matter experts, to build holistic, leading-edge development solutions and curate relevant topics.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand goals and propose learning solutions that support business objectives while balancing costs.
- Cultivate an inclusive and high-performing team culture by fostering diversity, collaboration, mutual support, and shared responsibility.
- Team with US and India colleagues to support positive team performance, personal growth and development and well-being for all.
- Support efforts to advance and elevate the Industry Proficiency Program (IPP) in alignment with industry learning strategy and business priorities.
- Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs, and peers.
- Manage the execution of learning strategy, proactively identify risks, take mitigation actions, and escalate as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 18 years of professional experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
- Skilled in stakeholder management, senior client relationships, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership
- Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and project close
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables:
o In Excel, aggregate and analyze operational data to identify insights and trends
o In PowerPoint, tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to audience at all management levels.
o In Word, create clear, concise, professional communications and resources
o In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency and version control
Preferred:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster relationships at all levels, enabling influence, collaboration, and consensus-building
- Expertise in using a consultative approach to design and deliver innovative learning solutions that achieve measurable business results
- Experience working in a learning and development organization is beneficial
- Prior Consulting or professional services experience, preferred
