Analyst/Sr. Analyst – Real Estate - Office- Portfolio Strategy and Management

 

Are you excited to support projects and help teams succeed in a dynamic, global environment? As a Real Estate Portfolio Strategy Analyst, you will support key project milestones by partnering with project managers and portfolio leaders to track progress, manage updates, and drive execution. You will also act as a liaison across business teams—coordinating communications for office openings and closures and supporting smart-office technology initiatives. In addition, you will leverage strong analytical and storytelling skills to translate complex datasets into clear insights and create high-impact PowerPoint presentations that inform strategic decision-making.

 

Work you’ll do

 

This role interacts regularly with the key stakeholders on the Real Estate team to support with various project lifecycle activities and deliverables. The role also collaborates with teams such as Technology, Operations, and several other internal and external stakeholders.

 

Essential Functions of the Role:

·       Track and report project milestone progress across portfolio initiatives; maintain integrated plans, action logs, and decision trackers.

·       Partner with project managers and portfolio leaders to identify schedule, project progress and support weekly status governance.

·       Build and maintain portfolio analytics and convert findings into decision-ready insights.

·       Coordinate cross-functional communications for office openings/closures, including stakeholder notifications, dependencies, and timing confirmations.

·       Support smart-office technology initiatives (e.g., sensors, room booking, access/wayfinding) by tracking rollout plans, issues, and adoption signals.

·       Develop executive-ready PowerPoint materials with clear storylines and quantified impacts.

·       Support project management activities such as managing shared mailbox, tracking tasks, preparing meeting materials, coordinating with project teams and documenting outcomes.

·       Provide research and insights from owned and external resources to support technology and transformation initiatives for the real estate organization.

·       Support process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, enhance transparency, and drive automation across the real estate organization as part of ongoing transformation efforts.

·       Participate in meetings and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Real Estate Strategy, Workplace Experience and Design, Technology, Business Services, etc.), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.

·       Conduct business in a culturally sensitive manner, capable of handling interactions with a “global” mindset.

·       Leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve speed and consistency of reporting and presentation development (e.g., summarizing project updates, drafting executive narratives), ensuring outputs are validated and aligned to data sources.

·       Leverage Smartsheet (preferred) to track milestones, maintain integrated plans and trackers, and produce weekly governance-ready portfolio reporting (e.g., dashboard views by initiative, overdue actions, decision aging) .

This role of PMO support Analyst will be part of the Real estate PMO group within the Real Estate Strategy Planning and Operations (SP&O) team.

 

Qualifications & Expertise

 

·       Bachelor’s degree (in Science, Technology, Engineering or Management) and 1–5 years of relevant experience

·       1- 3 years in an analyst role supporting corporate real estate, portfolio strategy, workplace/facilities, operations, finance, consulting, or program/project environments.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment

·       Demonstrated ability to analyze large/complex datasets and translate results into clear, decision-ready insights (trends, variances, scenarios).

·       Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, basic modeling) and Microsoft PowerPoint (executive-ready storylines, charts, tables).

·       Experience tracking milestones, action items, and risks/issues; comfortable operating in a weekly cadence with multiple stakeholders.

·       Strong written/verbal communication; able to synthesize “so-what” implications for leaders and coordinate cross-functional updates (e.g., office openings/closures).

·       Strong attention to definitions, assumptions, and version control to ensure reporting consistency and auditability.

·       Experience using AI tools to accelerate data analysis, summarize findings, and generate first-draft insights—while validating outputs for accuracy and confidentiality.

·       Familiarity with using AI to streamline recurring work (e.g., status-report drafting, meeting note synthesis, variance-explanation drafting, KPI narrative generation).

·       Experience with Smartsheet (or similar work management tools) to manage integrated plans, track milestones, and maintain action items and risks/issues preferred.
