Office of Security – Executive and Event Protection - Manager
Work you’ll do
The Executive and Event Protection role (Office of Security) safeguards senior leaders and enables secure, high-touch experiences for leadership/client visits and events by leading protective operations, conducting risk/threat assessments, coordinating stakeholders, and managing incident response—while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Executive Protection (Travel, Meetings, External Events)
· Provide close protection for senior leaders during travel, meetings, and events.
· Conduct risk assessments, threat analysis, and advance planning for travel/meetings/events (domestic and international).
· Develop and implement security plans, protocols, and tailored protective measures for specific environments and situations.
· Coordinate as needed with Central/state/local law enforcement and security agencies; maintain strong external relationships.
· Prepare and deliver security briefings, updates, and reports for senior management, document incidents and activities.
· Ensure leader privacy, confidentiality, and discretion always; remain current on security trends/technology/best practices.
Event / VIP / Visiting Client Protection (On-site Visits)
· Serve as the security point-of-contact for scheduled senior visitors and client visits; coordinate visit logistics with hosts (arrival times, agendas, rooming, special requirements).
· Provide on-site support for check-in, visitor badging, escorting guidance, and secure movement within facilities.
· Execute visitor management controls (e.g., pre-registration, identity verification as required, badge issuance/return, visitor logs).
· Validate and enforce appropriate access (zones/floors/areas) and applicable protocols (e.g., prohibited items, photography restrictions, secure-area practices).
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
· Partner with Reception/Front Desk, Facilities/Workplace, Information Technology (IT), event coordinators, and business stakeholders to ensure site readiness (rooms, A/V, signage, secure entry routes).
· Coordinate escalations and special requirements with building management and external security vendors when applicable.
· Provide executive-ready updates to Office of Security leadership for high-profile visits/events.
Incident Prevention, Response, and Continuous Improvement
· Monitor for issues during visits/events (e.g., lost badges, unauthorized access attempts, disruptions) and respond promptly.
· Support emergency response procedures (evacuation guidance, muster protocols) and manage visitor accountability as needed.
· Document incidents/near-misses/service issues; track trends and recommend process improvements; support audits/drills for visitor management and facility security.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience); for executive protection scope, degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred.
· Experience in executive protection / law enforcement / corporate security (role level to be calibrated by geography and scope).
· Experience with risk assessment, threat analysis, crisis/incident response, and producing clear written reports/briefings.
· Experience with visitor management systems (pre-registration, badge printing, reporting) and standard access control practices.
· Strong professional presence; ability to interact confidently with senior leaders/clients; proven discretion and confidentiality.
· Ability to work outside normal business hours (nights/weekends/holidays) and adjust hours based on visit/event schedules; willingness to travel domestically/internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience in multinational, high-traffic enterprise environments; VIP/board/executive engagements; investigations support and audit documentation.
· Military/Government service a plus.
· Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Personal Protection Specialist (PPS).
Work Location:
Hyderabad (expected to travel around USI to support client visits)
Work Timing: 9AM – 6PM
