Motion Graphics Artist, 2D/3D Animator—Assistant Manager

The Motion Graphics Animator/Compositor plays a key role in delivering award-winning creative work for our in-house agency. This role is a 2D/3D animation role with related VFX (visual effects) and editing responsibilities. This highly skilled designer will be creating animated content for broadcast, events, web, social, and other platforms where video plays a role in corporate communication The role works closely with the Video Production Manager and creative leadership, including video producers, copywriters, and creative directors. Collaboration with marketers and creative leads is essential—whether consulting on storyboards, advising on video capabilities, or shaping execution. Additional video-related expertise—such as live-action or film editing, on-set experience, narrative storytelling, and illustration—is considered a strong advantage.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and client account teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality motion graphics across diverse platforms, ensuring all assets meet project requirements and client expectations.
  • Lead the creative process by helping to develop original concepts and compelling storyboards that translate video scripts into engaging visual narratives, aligned with brand messaging, audience engagement goals, and strategic objectives
  • Continuously research and monitor emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in motion design. Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas and foster a culture of innovation and creative excellence.
  • Transform raw footage into polished, professional deliverables through video editing, color correction, visual effects, transitions, and motion graphics, creating visually engaging experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and communications teams to deliver video and motion assets across multiple channels, ensuring consistency and maximizing impact within broader campaigns.

Skills required

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D applications for integrating 3D elements into motion projects.
  • Familiarity with third-party plug-ins such as Element 3D, Red Giant Suite, Boris Mocha Pro or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong ability to guide visual style and craft compelling narratives through effective art direction and storytelling.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and respond to urgent requests with professionalism.

Required qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia and Animation, or Visual Effects.
  • A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating excellence in motion design, art direction, and leadership across projects.
  • Exposure to Agile workflows or tools such as Workfront is a plus.

Work experience

  • 7–9 years of hands-on experience in video/motion graphics.
