Brand Strategy – Executive Manager

Work You Will Do:
As Executive Manager – Brand Strategy you will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CMOs of the Industry, Tax and Audit & Assurance businesses, representing strategy with business pod leadership and building strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Lead the coordination of annual planning with the businesses, simplifying and aligning priorities to Deloitte’s overall marketing and business goals
- Architect insight-led brand strategies that uniquely position and differentiate Deloitte’s businesses and offerings, leveraging market intelligence, client feedback, audience research, and competitive analysis.
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated, full-funnel campaigns and content strategies to drive growth, market share, and measurable business outcomes.
- Conduct content audits, map content to audience needs, and identify gaps to inform content planning and development.
- Collaborate with creative, paid media, and data teams to translate brand and content strategies into compelling omnichannel campaigns and experiences.
- Advise on brand performance metrics and content KPIs, providing actionable recommendations and executive storytelling to communicate impact and optimize results.
- Champion an audience-first, “test and learn” culture, using data and insights to continuously optimize strategies.
- Educate and upskill broader marketing teams on brand and content best practices, helping to scale successful approaches across the organization.
- Stay current on industry trends, content formats, and emerging marketing tactics to ensure Deloitte’s brand and content strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Champion the use of AI and other emerging technologies that enable new, more efficient ways of working.
Required Skills:
- Executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, and advise leaders and teams on marketing strategy.
- Experience developing talent, providing feedback, and growing a team. The brand strategy team serving the tax and audit & assurance businesses is a new team.
- Experience developing strategic positioning, content plans, and integrated media campaigns utilizing data.
- Robust knowledge of owned and paid digital channels and demand generation tactics.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to communicate priorities, manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
The Team:
Our Brand Strategy team, part of Brand, Marketing & Communications, comprises thoughtful, creative, and collaborative strategists supporting Deloitte’s businesses. The team orchestrates omnichannel experiences based on audience-led insights and behaviors, driving effectiveness at every stage of the buyer journey. The strategists design and support end-to-end campaign planning and execution, helping business-aligned marketers execute more influential campaigns and multiply Deloitte’s collective marketing impact.
Required Qualifications:
- 14 + years of relevant experience in marketing or advertising agencies
- Experience in brand planning, media planning, or campaign planning on an internal marketing team or external agency
- Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
- Robust knowledge of all the various owned and paid digital channels
- Understanding of Agile methodology Skilled in testing user experiences to increase performance outcomes
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
Location and timings:
- Work Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
- Work Timings (IST): 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. or 11 – 4 and 8 -11pm
