Position: Senior Analyst, CL3

The Global People & Purpose team is looking for a senior analyst to advance Deloitte’s sustainability data and technology capabilities across the global organization. This role is within Deloitte Global and will support Deloitte to deliver on its environmental and societal impact goals, including achieving net-zero emissions by 2040.
This role is ideal for a professional who wants to advance sustainability through accurate, timely, and technology-driven sustainability reporting across multiple disciplines within a large global organization.
Work you will do
In this role you will:
- Support Deloitte’s sustainability reporting system development and member firm system adoption:
- Collaborate with the software development team to deliver system enhancement priorities following an agile software development approach;
- Participate in the user-acceptance testing of new system features;
- Become a subject matter expert on Salesforce Net Zero Cloud by leveraging available learning resources and internal user guides;
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and accuracy of source of truth reports, dashboards, and additional end-user resources;
- Support member firm stakeholders by translating business needs into technical requirements, and communicating development activities and feature availability to end-users; and
- Encourage end-user adoption of Deloitte’s sustainability reporting system by facilitating training sessions, educational webinars, and the development of supporting system documentation and resources.
- Support the Deloitte sustainability data and technology roadmap:
- Collaborate with data governance specialists to design and implement data architecture solutions, including supporting sustainability data lake development and maintenance;
- Enhance net-zero progress tracking and reporting by contributing to the improvement of data quality, automation, and governance processes;
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to aggregate business and technical requirements for sustainability data and reporting systems to be leveraged in future decision making;
- Help maintain compliance with applicable Deloitte policies, internal requirements, and industry leading practices; and
- Explore opportunities to enhance existing sustainability data and technology processes by leveraging advancements in AI.
- Support the priorities of Deloitte’s Net Zero transition plan:
- Actively participate in the maintenance of Deloitte’s global emissions forecasting model, including supporting member firm model set-up, delivering training webinars, and maintaining end-user resources;
- Evaluate the impact of net-zero workstreams on Deloitte’s sustainability data and technology systems and processes, and implement changes as required;
- Leverage knowledge of the sustainability reporting system and data management to support project and stakeholder priorities and requests for support.
- Support Global sustainability team priorities:
- Manage process improvements with internal stakeholder teams to enhance the sustainability reporting experience for member firm stakeholders;
- Perform sustainability data analysis, develop visualizations, and prepare information for internal and external reporting needs;
- Contribute to the development and delivery of presentations to varying stakeholder groups;
- Document process flows, internal controls, and standard operating procedures;
- Support the successful delivery of sustainability information for publication in the Deloitte Global Impact Report and other external publications.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/educational experience;
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience;
- Experience with data analysis, data architecture, and programming including SQL;
- Advanced Excel skills including model building, pivot table, and nested formula mastery;
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and comfort designing impactful data visualizations;
- Experience organizing and participating in virtual meetings;
- Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets to identify insights, trends, and anomalies;
- Strong communicator and active listener with the ability to craft concise, effective messages orally, in formal writing, and within a presentation deck;
- Strong organization and project management skills including a demonstrated ability to act as a valued, contributing team member ensuring high quality deliverables within established timeframes;
- Demonstrated experience (occupational and/or significant volunteer involvement) or formal education in sustainability;
- Interest and ability to work collaboratively across a virtual team and multiple, complex stakeholder dynamics;
- Ability to work independently, with advanced creative thinking and a continuous improvement mindset;
- Experience training diverse, non-technical stakeholders on complex technical processes and subject matter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce platforms and sustainability software solutions;
- Experience with PowerBI; Databricks and relational databases;
- Experience creating and maintaining forecasting/investment models, tools, and resources; and
- Professional or personal international experience.
