Position Summary

Position: Assistant Manager (TechnoFunctional/Operations)

At Global Talent Operations – Global Mobility we are responsible for supporting Global Mobility – Apro Platform used by Deloitte.  We,

  • Work on projects involved in migrating internal Deloitte Clients to Deloitte Global Platforms
  • Manage configuration, system workflow and other changes to the mobility technology platform
  • Facilitate change request management process
  • Work as Advisory partner on implementation of features, changes and recommendations for internal Deloitte Clients
  • Provide functional and operational support for issues reported
  • Application platform change, release and deployment management
  • Manage testing including identifying test scenarios, writing required test scripts, perform regression, functional, user acceptance tests
  • Ensure mobility technology platform data has integrity and is complete by performing regular audits and data clean-up activities
  • Manage access and ensure implementation of governance processes around data retention, compliance etc.,
  • Liaison with Deloitte Technology Support and Vendor teams as part of projects, issue resolutions.

As part of Global Mobility – Platform Management – your role as Assistant Manager includes the following responsibilities

  • Operations
    • Responsible for day-day to operations ensuring all requests are managed effectively and correctly
    • Responsible for all the KPIs (metrics) and proactively checking to ensure the scores are at or above target
    • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly business performance data with the USI Operations Lead
    • Build and Manage stakeholder relationships
    • First point of escalation for stakeholders
    • Drive monthly calls with stakeholders on open cases and prioritization
    • Ensure periodic scheduled activities for the team are completed, reviewed and shared with member firms
  • Techno-Functional
    • Being a subject matter expert on platform functionality
    • Reviewing requirements for configuration changes ensuring there are no upstream/downstream or cross-member firm impacts
    • Extend support to team as and when required by working on cases requiring expertise (complex problem/error cases, configuration cases)
    • Review work done by team (Audits) to ensure completeness and accuracy as per the requirements
    • Support application, functional, regression and User acceptance testing
    • Work with and support member firm users during the user acceptance testing period
    • Ensure appropriate documents, knowledgebase is updated at all times
  • Vendor Relations
    • Represent GTO team on Vendor calls ensuring updates on all vendor open cases are provided
    • Drive reduction in open cases with Vendors
    • Liaison with vendor for periodic release cycles
  • People Management
    • Conduct fortnightly check-in with team members aligned
    • Responsible as a coach for the team members aligned
    • Performance review of people aligned
    • Ensure timely recognition for team members
  • Organization Level
    • Participate in Assistant Manager (peer-group) meetings actively and engage as needed
    • Participate/contribute to GTO wide initiatives as needed and applicable

Qualifications

Required:

·       Strong understanding on any of the enterprise level applications (SAAS)

·       Experience in leading team responsible for managing incidents, problems, configuration requests for enterprise level applications (SAAS)

·       Should have worked on managing and configuring a SAAS application

·       Experience working in areas of application release and deployment management

·       Experience working with Global stakeholders

·       Experience in preparing/working on user stories, test-cases, application testing (user acceptance, functional, regression)

·       Working with cross-functional teams and driving for results

·       Experience working with Case Management System. (Salesforce / VSTS / ServieNow)

·       Very good in both Verbal and Written Communication skills.

·       Strong Logical and Analytical skills

·       Trained / Certified in Agile Professional Scrum Mastery

·       Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio)

·       Graduate in any Background

·       Preferred: Knowledge in designing and managing database tables is a plus

·       Preferred: Experience in HR enterprise applications (Example: SuccessFactors, AssignmentPro)
