The Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priority Support Hub team supports the various strategic priorities of Global Tax & Legal business. The team has diverse skillset to ensure that the priority initiatives are seamlessly executed. We provide PMO supports, reporting and analytics support, business research support, as well as marketing and communications support to the leaders, which enables the success of these priorities. Our involvement helps Global Tax and Legal leaders grow the Deloitte footprint across geographies with their clients.
Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub – Research Analyst Role Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with strong analytical and communications skills with a proactive approach in sharing ideas and providing insights, to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As an Analyst, you will work in the Strategic Priority Support Hub team on a wide range of services including preparing company research reports, providing analysis and insights on various topics, rolling out newsletters, alerts, bulletins, on projects that support strategic targeting efforts and programs. In this role, you create an impact over Deloitte Professionals globally with your analytical approach and effective communications skills, high-visibility reports and deliverables to help teams with their short-term or long-term strategies. With your guidance, stakeholders can optimize their strategy and focus on strengthening client relationships and meeting each client’s unique needs.
What you’ll do
· Prepare research reports to provide insights and information to internal and client-facing teams
· Develop industry knowledge to support industry/sector specific initiatives
· Share ideas to refresh content on internal digital platform - Deloitte Resources, for GTL C&I websites.
· Adopt consultative mindset to identify specific client needs and interact with teams across member firms within Deloitte.
· Get accustomed with all the C&I Strategic Initiatives and assist stakeholders on the assigned initiatives.
· Work with globally diverse stakeholders across various time zones, interact to gather project requirements and deliver mutually agreed projects within stipulated timeline
· Work on Ad-hoc projects and share ideas to further enhance the process.
· Share your perspective and engage in discussions with the team, leadership and stakeholders.
· Develop business solutions that help leadership and stakeholders in setting direction for T&L business/revenue growth.
· Prepare internal revenue and opportunity reports for leadership
· Document reporting activity through PowerPoint presentations and Excel summary reports; develop visually appealing reporting dashboards on data visualization tools
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong competence in the following areas:

· Consultative mindset and the ability to advise leadership and stakeholders on relevant insights to enhance business strategy through powerful presentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to use grammatically correct, clear, and neutral language to convey the message in a logical and concise manner
· Enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to deliver a consistent high level of performance
· Forward thinking and proactive attitude with a keen focus on innovation – open to new ideas
· Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to structure, organize and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
· Exceptional attention to detail and willing to work in a demanding and results-oriented global business environment with frequently changing priorities
· Collaborative with proven ability to work with and gain support and commitment from others – even without formal authority – and build relationships
· Ability to work under strict deadlines, prioritize and multitask work assignments, take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced environment, and adhere to strict internal quality assurance processes
· Education: Graduate/ Post-Graduate/ MBA degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, Commerce or Marketing from a tier-2 business school.
· Experience: Total: 1 - 2 years
Ø Experience with business research and analysis, hands-on experience on research databases like Capital IQ, Hoovers, and Factiva preferable
Ø Strong analytical, quantitative skills, experience in working with large volumes of data
Ø Mastery in Microsoft office packages, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-look up, H-look up).
Good to have:
Ø Financial statement analysis such as company income statement, balance sheet and financial KPIs
Ø Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
