Global Tools Delivery Center – Project Coordinator

Work you’ll do
Global Tools Delivery Center: Project Coordinator supports all PMO activities, works closely with PMO Project Manager, stakeholders, business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to support tool development projects and provide overall program support to Deloitte Member Firms and Global Service lines. This role requires you to drive and participate effectively in all project meetings, firm initiatives, and internal team activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain tool development projects and deliverables through all phases of development lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to project constraints such as time, quality, scope, resource requirements
- Monitor project processes and procedures focusing on continuous improvement
- Work with senior management, business process owners and clients from different member firms, vendors, and other staff to ensure all projects are clearly defined and documented
- Develop project plans, metrics, reports, templates, process documents and dashboards
- Identify and notify potential risks and issues
- Assess implication of changes in the scope of work and participate in crafting necessary client messages
- Provide process improvement recommendations and drive consistency across projects
- Measure and report utilization, capacity; Communicate project status and impact on client deliverables
- Coordinate action items between stakeholders and development teams

USI shared services team provides a wide array of services to the U.S. and it is constantly evaluating and expanding its portfolio. The shared services team provides call center support, Document Services support, financial processing and analysis support, Record management support, Ethics and compliance support and admin assistant support.
Global Tools Delivery Center for Tax & Legal:
The Global Tax & Legal team supports the As One approach to connecting our network of member firms by developing strategies, elevating and sharing ideas & best practices and rapidly disseminating information. In addition to these core responsibilities, the team members also play a key role in driving the development and implementation of the enhancements stemming from our ongoing Global Tax & Legal 2020 Strategy – toward our vision of becoming the number one global tax practice in the world.
Global Tools Delivery Center supports the Global service lines and Member Firms in creating and driving consistency, reliability, and efficiency in the services we deliver to our clients. The central team supports the business by:
• Working with the service lines to create new methodologies for global launch and adoption
• Supporting service line delivery model teams from project inception through completion and deployment
• Instilling a culture of continuous improvement via measurement, monitoring and review to continually improve global methods & tools
Qualifications
Required:
· Educational Qualification: BSC (any), B.Tech (any); MBA
· Technical Skill Set:
o Proficient in MS Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word
o Project coordination, Process development and Continuous improvement
o Experience in delivering full lifecycle of projects
o Six Sigma or LEAN certifications
o PMP training
· Inter personal Skill Set:
- Analytical thinking, problem solving and high level of documentation skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Work on multiple tasks in parallel while maintaining high quality standards
- Attention to detail
- Ability to deliver in dynamic work environment
- Energetic, driven and committed to project success while working under time constraints
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
- Continuously manage customer expectations
Position reports to GTDC PMO Assistant Manager or Manager
