A Senior Analyst is offered the opportunity to join the Global Tax & Legal Learning team in the full-time role of Digital Learning Design & Development Senior Analyst for Global Tax & Legal.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop further in a hands-on, globally strategic learning and development role, working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, business-focused environment and requires a blend of creativity, instructional design expertise, and technical proficiency to create learning solutions that are not only informative but also engaging and impactful.
This role will support the Global Tax & Legal Digital Learning initiative. Various work streams of this initiative demand the creation of an increased volume of digital learning for our people, in order to increase access and reach of our curriculum, support the roll out of new Tax & Legal technologies to our clients and to help our people adapt to working in a digital enterprise. In addition, the role will support the development of digital learning to support the technical curriculum for each of our Global Tax & Legal service lines and offerings.
Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Design:
- Schedule, design, and develop a wide range of digital learning materials, including e-learning modules, interactive simulations, videos, and online assessments.
- Active learning consultation with learning managers/senior managers and stakeholders and conduct learning needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted instructional strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in digital learning to continuously improve our offerings.
Content Development and Production:
- Write, storyboard, and edit learning materials, including instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts.
- Design and develop visually appealing and interactive multimedia elements using authoring tools (Articulate 360) and design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Develop and maintain technical learning content for Tax & Legal technology tools.
- Integrate GenAI/AI tools smartly and creatively to optimize production efficiencies.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of all course materials.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, learning managers/senior managers, and team members.
- Deliver digital learning projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time and to budget under the supervision of the digital learning assistant manager/manager.
- Identify risks and issues in the development process and take proactive action to mitigate these or raise them with leadership.
Evaluation and Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and revise content based on feedback and performance data.
- Research new innovations in learning design and education to enhance our training programs.
The role may expand and shift over time to take on further responsibilities in line with the digital strategic agenda.
Experience, Skills, and Personal Attributes Required
Qualifications and experience:
· Educated to degree level, or equivalent. Learning or technology related preferred
· 2-3 years working experience in a corporate environment preferably in digital learning and development, technical writing and training, or in a creative environment, such as visual design or graphic design (required)
· Experience of developing learning using learning technologies such as Brainshark, Articulate Storyline/360, Captivate or other screen capture tools, image and video creation/editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Synthesia, Camtasia etc.
· Experience of delivering projects as an Individual contributor as well as in a team
· Experience of delivery of learning in a virtual classroom setting is a bonus
· Used to working in multicultural/global environment
· Excellent English language proficiency (written and spoken) (required)
· Excellent command of the Micorsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and particularly Powerpoint) (required)
