The candidate will be responsible for providing content editing, writing and proofreading support to the Global Tax & Legal Brand, Marketing & Communications team.
Work you will do
· Assist Global Tax & Legal Brand, Marketing & Communications efforts through writing and editing assignments for both internal and external channels, including memos, newsletters, sales collateral, thought leadership, articles, social media, online content and general communications.
· Coordinate production and distribution of content across various channels including websites, intranets, newsletters, etc.
· Stay abreast of Deloitte brand and legal requirements to ensure compliance with legal and brand standards for communications, as appropriate.
· Support scheduled internal site content maintenance and updates and serve as an internal ambassador, by staying apprised of developments through Deloitte’s Brand and Communication groups, internal social media and other special interest groups and facilitating timely, ongoing dialogue with team members and colleagues across the member firms.
Work location: Hyderabad
Shift timing: 2 PM to 11 PM
The team
The Global Tax & Legal Brand, Marketing & Communications team promotes strategic Global Tax & Legal initiatives and drives implementation of initiatives through marketing programs designed to be replicated at the member firm levels. The team also provides internal communication support for Global Tax & Legal Leadership and the Global Tax & Legal Office, as well as transformation-related communications. In addition, it provides tools and resources for leverage by the member firm tax and legal communications groups.
This is a unique opportunity to be an integral member of the growing Brand, Marketing & Communications team that drives eminence for the services delivered to tax and legal clients. The team also provides support to all the GTLO teams for their marketing and communication efforts.
Qualifications
Required
· 1.5–2 years of full-time experience in marketing and/or public relations, communications (internal and/or external) campaigns, including writing and editing support.
· Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (including reading, writing, comprehension, and verbal communication) with an ability to clearly articulate ideas and present concepts convincingly.
· The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong understanding of business writing, especially with regard to grammar, punctuation, tone of voice, clarity of message, and general aesthetics.
· Self-starter, energetic, enthusiastic, and organized with an ability to think logically, creatively and express ideas clearly.
· Strives for personal and organizational improvement—passionate about making sense of information to suggest new possibilities for improvement and pushing those ideas forward; seeks out new experiences, knowledge and is open to learning and change.
· General understanding of social media and digital marketing.
· Ability to perform under stringent time deadlines.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
· Familiarity with corporate style guides and editorial standards.
· Team-oriented with the ability to work with colleagues virtually.
Preferred
Masters or equivalent in any of the following: English, Mass Communication, Humanities, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or any other related field.
