Senior Analyst – Data Analytics
Are you a professional who enjoys exploring data, identifying insights, and developing impactful dashboards and reporting solutions? Are you someone with strong analytical thinking and design sensibility who can build business-focused visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI?
Work you’ll do
You’ll develop and maintain dashboards and analytics solutions that support Deloitte Member Firms and help drive consistency, quality, and efficiency for Tax & Legal services delivered through the Global Tools Delivery Center. This role is primarily focused on Microsoft Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data analysis, with exposure to AI concepts considered a plus, not a requirement.
Dashboard development, maintenance, and optimization
· Develop and maintain dashboards and advanced reports using Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
· Work independently in Power BI, with strong expertise in DAX and visual elements.
· Prepare dashboards using data visualization and data wrangling tools.
· Analyze data using Excel and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
· Gather and analyze existing best practices and templates to develop data-driven, insightful dashboards.
· Support dashboard development and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Provide recommendations to improve reporting processes, frameworks, and consistency across projects.
Data management and reporting standards
· Apply strong knowledge of SQL, DBMS, ETL tools/processes, and data management technologies to support analytics and reporting solutions.
· Apply development frameworks, guidelines, and standards to tools and ensure integrity and consistency across deliverables.
· Support testing, validation, and release readiness of dashboards and reports.
· Contribute ideas to enhance reporting efficiency, usability, and standardization.
· Work effectively in a global environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Compliance and documentation
· Use Deloitte standards and templates in all deliverables.
· Execute internal testing and user acceptance processes.
· Develop and maintain internal project documentation.
· Support consistency, quality, and compliance across analytics projects.

And if requires a high degree of cooperation among business units that generally are not accustomed to working together – with people who do not necessarily want to change.
USI shared services team provides a wide array of services to the U.S. and it is constantly evaluating and expanding its portfolio. The shared services team provides call center support, Document Services support, financial processing and analysis support, Record management support, Ethics and compliance support and admin assistant support.
Qualifications
Required:
· Educational Qualification: MCA, B.E./B.Tech
· Technical Skill Set:
- Overall, 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics field
- Hands on experience in Power BI, should be well versed with DAX and visual elements.
- Possess in depth knowledge in SQL, ETL and Data management technologies
- Experience working on Tableau
- Knowledge of R/Python would be highly beneficial: Basic understanding of these statistical/analytical programming skills is necessary.
- Familiar with visual design and best practices of UI/UX, reports and dashboards and scorecards
o Sound understanding of advanced excel functions
- Understanding of agile software development practices and release of software products
- Knowledge in statistics and machine learning would be highly beneficial: The candidate should have a strong developed mentality with a focus on measuring and metrics
o Knowledge of Quality processes & Dashboard Testing processes
o Good to have knowledge on AI concepts and implementations in Data Analytics and Automation
· Business Skill Set:
- Role works in a global culture which is under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines
- Familiar with consulting role
- Must have Analytical/problem solving ability
- Trouble-shooting skills, strong initiative, critical thinking skills, detail oriented
- It is necessary to have strong Verbal and written communication skills
· Interpersonal Skill Set:
- Be able to combine timely and tactful influence to accomplish difficult tasks
- Have excellent communication skills with good oral and written communication capabilities
- Have thorough understanding and possess creativity to implement through technology
