The Team:
As part of the GPS EA, team members work collaboratively to ensure that the organization is operating effectively and efficiently, and that it is meeting its goals and objectives. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets and resources, supply chain insights, supply chain projections and analysis, optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with government regulations and organizational policies, and supporting other departments in their work. The GPS EA plays a crucial role in enabling an organization to deliver high-quality services to its government and public sector clients.
Work you will do.
• Support critical and complex competitive bidding processes, conducting routine
• Price and cost analyses to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Apply proven sourcing strategies to effectively support business clients’ requirements for software,
hardware, and other commodities.
• Provide supply chain insights, analysis, and help in developing strategic supply chain approach
• Provide proposal support to GPS Deloitte Proposal Teams, including advising on the development
of bills of materials for software, hardware, and other commodities as needed.
• Demonstrate advanced interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis
on delivering customer-oriented services.
• Strategically manage supplier relationships to maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Monitor supply markets in key categories, maintain awareness of supplier diversity programs,
and stay informed on trends within industry associations and the diverse supplier community.
• Respond to field inquiries from suppliers and connect them with appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.
Qualification & Skills:
• Any graduate/post-graduate with supply chain, procurement and logistics background.
• Proven experience in purchasing software, SaaS solutions, and other IT-related products.
• Experience in providing supply chain insights, projections and data analysis
• Familiarity with the procurement portals /Procure to Pay platform is preferred
• 1-4 years of P2P experience in buying software and hardware.
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and leveraging value-added reseller agreements.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong consultative and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI, data analytics, and AI tools, including their practical applications.
• Track record of effective collaboration and teamwork.
• Understanding of government regulations (FAR and DFAR) is a plus
