Senior Analyst – Government & Public Services (GPS) Client Account Management (CAM)

Work you’ll do
As a GPS Client Account Management (CAM) professional you will work with Deloitte’s account leaders and other internal
stakeholders to deliver the best of the firm, strengthen relationships and help expand our services footprint at our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the US CAM for project management, delivery and operations of account initiatives. Effectively and
efficiently managing the account operating model to optimize performance and results. Independently handle
projects end-to-end including stakeholder communications, project prioritization, project management and project
delivery
• Work with the account team to protect and build our brand while seeking opportunities to reduce firm risks.
Tracking independence review process for new/existing business relationships and supporting our confidential
management program
• Working with US CAM and the account leadership team in conceptualizing and implementing account planning
strategies vital for successful performance
• Monitoring, reporting and associated analytics of opportunities (entered in CRM) along with their status on a weekly
basis. Keeping pipeline up to date
• Conduct secondary research including competitor, market intelligence, pursuit/ opportunity research to analyze and
share the findings in a presentable format. Research and analysis of future opportunities via public and subscribed
databases
• Design and development of account leadership dashboards. Updates to dashboards on periodic basis
• Handle Account Planning by working on account overview decks; periodic refresh of account eminence distribution;
and account recruitment
• Collect and distribute Industry specific news on a regular basis. Demonstrate industry and account knowledge
through work outputs and on internal client interactions
• Preparing and managing MR/Sales workbook. Analysis of metrics against goals and across portfolio of leaders
• Gain in-depth knowledge about the services the account and associated programs/engagements provide, and utilize
that knowledge to recommend ways to improve the service offered
• Share knowledge and lessons learned across accounts to achieve efficient support and bring leading practice ideas
• Proactively keep the team leader informed about the project status at all times. Ensure project meets set standards
of quality and project requirements
• Develop templates and assist in developing processes for deliverables. Prepare process documents and training
modules for new hires/junior team members
• Share learnings and assist/train junior team members on their account initiatives
The team
The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions in support of market positioning and acquisition activities to
maximize Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. The team works in collaboration
with the US stakeholders in identifying and tracking opportunities, account spending and opportunity analysis, as well as
competitive and market intelligence support for Government pursuits. The team works closely with the US GPS channels under
Client and Sales Excellence including Marketing and Communications, Information Management, Account Management,
Competitive & Market Intelligence, Pursuits, and Strategy.
Qualification and experience required:
• 3-6 years of professional experience in account management, technology project management, market research,
marketing or business development field
• MBA and/or Masters in relevant field
Skills
• Strong account, client & project management skills with proven experience in providing counsel to senior executives
• Ability to independently manage client requests and stakeholder communications
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Executive presence with an ability to support communications and interactions with leadership
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM tool
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong Tableau, data analytics skills required.
• Strong experience in market research, information assimilation and synthesis of the data
• Proven ability to create dashboards and present the information in a logical flow. Ability to perform data analysis in
graphical, tabular formats and present findings in PPT
• Knowledge of the US Government marketplace and policy areas such as government spending, Human capital, risk
and compliance, health care, education, human services, digitalization will be an advantage
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Ability to develop remote relationships and work with team members in the U.S.
• Support Client Relationship Management (CRM) activities, such as developing client bios, identifying thought ware
aligned to their focus areas, and tracking relevant information
• Working knowledge of BGov and GovWin tools and an understanding of the U.S. government contracting process will
be an advantage
• Understanding of client service, marketing, sales/pre-sales in a professional services firm
• Ability to work virtually and multitask. Attention to detail with good client service attitude
