About the role
The role will support the delivery of numerous Websites on SharePoint and other internal platforms
Deloitte Services LP is currently searching for a Web Designer (UI/UX) who will join our in-house marketing agency to deliver the best-in-class web experiences for the intranet sites. A designer who can also code, build and deploy digital marketing experiences.
What you’ll do
This individual contributor is primarily responsible for UI/UX design from concept to deployment for web pages, gamifications, and other digital collaterals. The professional will work in a Creative Studio to design and produce web solutions for the SharePoint and other internal platforms.
Qualifications required:
- Any Graduation/ Engineering Degree (preferably computer science)/MCA or relevant experience
- 2-3 years of hands-on UI/UX design and development in-depth experience with rich template-based designs and web design, usability and development best practices with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, front-end frameworks (Bootstrap), jQuery, CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS)
- Responsive cross-browser and cross-platform design, mobile experience, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), color theory, graphic design, mockups and prototyping, testing / debugging and building from concept to deployment
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD and Figma (Portfolio would definitely be an added advantage)
- Ability to convert static content into engaging interactive experiences
- Sound experience in web content management systems (CMS).
- SharePoint 2010/13 knowledge is an added advantage.
- Solid grasp of user-centric design, rapid prototyping, heuristic evaluation, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to take decisions and suggest alternatives with the changing priorities
- Experience working with brand and/or design guidelines
- Experience with Typescript and static type checking methodologies
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete designs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management; self-starter
- Good relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust and confidence with internal marketing and communication teams
- Detail oriented, with high sense of ownership
- Ability to work in an agile environment, quickly adapting to new processes and managing multiple assignments under tight deadlines
The team
USI Communications is a talented team of professionals who specialize in Internal Communications, Public Relations and Communication Technology. The team reinforces the culture and brand of Deloitte internally and monitors our external reputation – intervening where necessary. They also play the role of a strategic and trusted business advisor for leaders and ensure that professionals are equipped with the right information in a timely manner to excel at work and enjoy well-being. Other priorities include creating an open and transparent environment for leadership communications, leveraging internal channels creatively, effectively disseminating information and measuring the impact of communications.
