Work you’ll do
The Illustration Designer will support Deloitte’s internal clients by creating highly creative illustrations using a variety of graphic design tools and state-of-the-art equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering visually striking, brand-aligned designs on time, while ensuring effective communication and fostering a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in multiple software packages, especially Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and experience with graphic tablets are essential, as is a proven ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work. You will collaborate with both offshore and onshore customers and designers across different geographies to interpret briefs, develop design solutions, and refine work based on feedback. Staying current with the latest design trends is critical to your success in this position.
- Produce creative/high end Illustrations using Graphic tablets (Illustrations, Live sketch/graphic recording for conferences, infographics, technical drawings, conceptualization, caricatures & Leadership portraits, character designs, perspective drawings, Storyboards, Digital art, comics strips etc.) within an internal, process-driven systems structure, meeting deadlines and client expectations for quality.
- Take project brief from customers, working closely with senior designers and leads for guidance, provide designs based on instructions. Should have the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Handle end-to-end high end/complex illustration projects, that need conceptualizing and building concepts/creative infographics, designing creative merchandizing products.
- Ability to adapt to any kind of style/Deloitte brand guidelines and customers instructions.
- Ability to execute complex illustrations/infographics efficiently with minimal edit cycles required

CoRe Creative Services is Deloitte's largest global design team. CoRe Creative Services operates globally through five studios: Presentations Studio, Proposals and Bids Studio, Print & Digital Studio, Graphic & Illustration Studio, and Videos & Animation Studio. The mission is to deliver brand consistency, enhance speed-to-market, and drive operational efficiencies through global alignment of creative services professionals, process, and technology. The US-India Delivery Center for CoRe Creative Services is dedicated to providing creative graphic solutions in a variety of mediums. With 180+ designers and coordinators located across three global regions—providing consistent, high-quality, professional creative services, this team has established its reputation with clients throughout Deloitte. The CoRe Creative Services practice provides support on 35+ project types, including but not limited to presentation, proposal, sales sheet, newsletter, annual report, brochure, poster, placemat, advertisement, video, animation, illustration, interactive design, and signage.
Qualifications
Years of experience
· Two to six years of experience in corporate graphic design, advertising agencies, or Studios will be a plus. (*Portfolio is mandatory and should include samples of Freehand sketching, doodling, digital paintings, storyboards, comics, concept arts)
Education
· Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline. Desired: Bachelor/Master of Fine Arts (BFA)/(MFA)/Design.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
- Specialization in advanced freehand drawing/sketching of human anatomy, still life, and perspective drawings using Wacom graphic tablets
- Freehand using traditional mediums and digital illustration skills using Wacom graphic tablets
- Ability to create/build concepts based on the instructions provided by clients.
- Ability to create digital illustrations, Live Sketch/graphic recording for conferences, create infographics, technical drawings, concepts from scratch, caricatures and leadership portraits, character designs, isometric/3D drawings, storyboards, digital art, comics strips, creating brand assets, etc.
- Understand data, numbers, and business-specific content and convert them in to creative infographics that best convey intended meaning.
- Should be very strong in Design Principles.
- Ability to follow and interpret customer instructions and deliver projects with acceptable level of quality and meet customer expectations, and deadlines.
- Provide design consultation to high profile customers on key deliverables.
