Performance & PPMD Experience – Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in both GPE & PPMD Experience teams – collaborating with the GPE team, PPMD Experience team, Global Board Readiness Program team and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality deliverables that will be essential to the seamless execution of the talent processes for our business.

Work you will do.

As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the GPE and PPMD Experience COE leaders, and will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of GPE and PPMD experience process analysts, including but not limited to:

Streamlined partnership with the COEs.
Planning and executing the GPE and PPMD Experience lifecycle for Deloitte Global consistently and efficiently
Transactional and operational tasks enabling seamless execution of processes. Due to Deloitte’s data-driven People processes, diligence and an analytical thinking is necessary.
Identifying potential skills gaps among team members and providing feedback and coaching as appropriate, including suggesting professional development opportunities.
This role is also responsible for managing relationships with HR business Partners and providing exceptional stakeholder support by delivering high quality results.

Process Execution
Takes direction from the GPE, PPMD Experience and Global Board Readiness Program team members and escalates potential issues and concerns.
Supports the execution of all talent life cycle processes. Troubleshoots process issues and provides solutions.
Prepares materials and reports in support of Talent Reviews and Year-end reviews, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Manages on-boarding documentation, keeping all materials organized.
Supports the MD Promotions program team in the execution of the MD nomination and committee process.
Oversees and supports the execution of all GPE and PPMD experience processes. Troubleshoots process issues and provides solutions.
Takes direction from COE leaders and escalates potential issues and concerns.
Oversees preparation of materials and reports in support of meetings, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Data analysis and reporting
Updates and reviews trackers and lists managed by the PPMD Experience and Global Board Readiness Program teams.
Maintains Talent Review and Year-end data and ensures it is accurate.
Performs research, due diligence and analysis of Global Board Readiness Program participant and alumni profiles for the purposes of selection, providing support, and metrics reporting
Reviews data output for risks and escalates issues as needed.
Oversees the quality of deliverables shared with the COE.

Communications
Assist with maintaining PPMD Experience and Global Board Readiness Program internal webpages.
Supports in preparing communications and managing the communications plan for various talent lifecycle processes with guidance from the PPMD Experience and Global Board

Readiness Program Senior Advisors
Manages inquiries received in Global PPMD Matters & GPE mailbox; escalates to PPMD Experience Senior Advisor and others as needed.

Training and skills development
Completes training courses to keep skill set up to date.
Discusses areas of improvement with PPMD Experience and Global Board Readiness Program teams and seeks out professional development opportunities to close potential gaps.
Discusses areas of improvement with leadership and seeks out professional development opportunities to close potential gaps.
Advises and shares best practices with team members to improve processes and gain efficiencies.

Team Management
Escalates business concerns, risks, and issues to COE leaders.
Conducts check-ins with team member (i.e., process analyst), sets work goals, provides feedback, and assists in identifying professional development opportunities.
Coaches team member on process implementation and strategic thinking
Works with team member on workload prioritization and problem solving.
Ensures team member have the ability and capacity to deliver and meet deadlines.
Escalates performance concerns to the COE leaders and USI management.

Process Excellence
Manages COE relationships - driving connection points to understand upcoming activities and plans for delivery.
Owns the delivery of the GPE and PPMD experience processes including, but not limited to communications, reporting, data cleaning, compliance, year-end planning, promotion pipelines and trackers, and Promotions-owned in-person meetings.
Troubleshoots potential process issues and provides solutions.
Collaborates with DTTL stakeholders, COE teams, and People advisory teams, to identify identifying process efficiencies.

Qualifications Required:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or Certification in HR and 8 or + years of related experience
Prior experience in managing resources and managing large volumes of data.
Prior experience with advising clients and stakeholder management
Prior experience in generating reports and analyzing data.

Required technical skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Produces reports, analyzes data, and identifies trends.
Demonstrates effective and articulate communication skills.

Demonstrates strategic thinking and establishes task priorities.

Effectively leverages tools such as Tableau, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow etc.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in a virtual environment.
Manages confidential information according to Deloitte Administrative Policy Release (APR) guidelines.
