Position Summary

Executive Manager- Cloud Architect-

Work you will do:

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture on AWS/Azure, including landing zones, reference architectures, and standardization of processes to build consistency across all cloud solutions.
• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, including application assessment, planning, and execution for infrastructure migration
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams in cloud modernization initiatives, including cloud suitability and business case assessments.
• Optimize cloud environments for scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Involve in conducting Azure/AWS readiness assessments and evaluations and delivery of assessment reports, architecture/design/ deployment documents & presentations.
• Architecting cloud agnostic solutions for new applications.
• Designing cloud agnostic architectures, environments, and solutions that meet the business requirements with an emphasis on meeting the overall business goals.
• Develop and Design .NET Web applications (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular, C#, SQL, JSON, Web API) using Agile processes in an Azure/AWS environment.
• Design highly available, scalable, and secure Azure solutions using industry best practices.
• Design and develop automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration process.
• Strong understanding of Azure/AWS Database technologies (both IaaS and PaaS) and options to support the migration process.
• Drive the adoption of best practices around coding, design, quality, and performance
• Support the development team in building solutions and quick fixes
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Build effective monitoring, logging, and auditing of applications hosted in Azure to ensure compliance with mandated policies.
• Stay current with AWS services, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Key Technology Requirements
• Strong Experience in Design and Development of the IT Infrastructure for Azure Technology
• Good Understanding of Azure Serverless components.
• In depth knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Hands-on with Designing and Developing MS Azure (PaaS & IaaS) services and applications using - C#, Azure Web-Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Data Factory.
• Hands-on with Designing and Developing MS Azure Databases (like Azure SQL, NoSQL, Cosmos DB and Data Lake)
• AWS Core Services: Deep expertise in EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and related AWS services.
• Networking: Knowledge of AWS networking concepts including VPC design, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53, security groups, and NACLs.
• DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation scripting (Python, Bash), and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party monitoring/logging tools.
• Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of AWS security services (KMS, IAM, Cognito), encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR etc.).
• Proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure (VM, SQL, VNET, User defined routes, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, Storage, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, API Gateway, and Azure AD, Traffic Manager)
• Cloud Design Patterns and Well-Architected Framework
• Knowledge in Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment process, CI/CD pipelines, VSTS.
• Working experience on ARM templates and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Azure monitoring tools
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 4-5 years architecting solutions for the Microsoft Azure Cloud
