Position Summary

Assistant Manager - Project Coordinator - Deloitte Support Services India Pvt Ltd. 

The Project Manager will be working for the Deloitte Technology PPDS team and will be tasked to manage end to end delivery of projects in various portfolios.

Your role will require you to possess a flexible work style and be able to work beyond the normal schedule during peak periods to meet deadlines. The candidate should be able to work effectively, with minimal day-to-day supervision, and within a team environment to significantly contribute to the success of the team. It is required that you must possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects. Outstanding research, analytical, and quantitative aptitude, as well as advanced attention to detail, are required for success in this role.


Key responsibilities include:

Lead, Manage and successfully, deliver certain projects performed by the DT Portfolio Program and Deployment Services (PPDS) Office  from India
Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans; has responsibility for multiple project assignments, project tracking, issue resolution, time gathering and reporting, and communicating project progress to stakeholders 
Managing processes throughout the projects
Creation and control of all project related documents
Works with the appropriate product team and other Deloitte Technology teams to implement user requirements. Able to understand the business requirements and technical environments in order to creatively assist the users in defining these requirements.
Responsible for effective project kick-off, identification of all project stakeholders, defines and clarifies project roles and responsibilities; Works with all stakeholders to identify and confirm resource necessary resources
Performs work independently with little or no direct supervision
Develops project plans, estimations, specifications, flowcharts, and presentations; Conducts regular project reviews and communicates the status of projects in both formal and informal settings. Responsible for knowing and communicating a projects status throughout project lifecycle
Provides regular and timely feedback to team members and their respective managers; is proactive in the identification and resolution of issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables; Seeks innovative ways to remove project obstacles
Encourages collaborative efforts and camaraderie with cross geographical team members
Demonstrates a working understanding of both quality assurance and software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share knowledge with peers, development and QA groups, and project team
Preparing and managing project budgets 
Proactively manage project risks and issues

The Deloitte Technology (DT) is the Global CIO’s IT Department, which provides and manages a portfolio of global business applications and technology infrastructure that supports business processes common to all Deloitte member firms



Location: Hyderabad 
Work shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree/Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology
6-8 years of in project management, operations management, upward communications, consulting role, preferably in a global organization
Must have experience managing projects
Degree in a business field preferred (Minimum 6 years of related experience preferred)


Essential:
PMP or Prince2 certification
CSM certification (desirable)
Working knowledge on PPM tools like MSP, ServiceNow ITBM
Managed projects with Traditional/Waterfall, Agile and preferably in SAFe methodology
Proven track record in applied Project Management experience 
Excellent communication skills
Management knowledge and skills, ability to work comfortably with senior executives
Ensures the primary goals of governance: for investments to generate business value are promoted, understood and managed and met. In-depth knowledge of portfolio, businesses, functions and all relevant stakeholders to successfully drive decisions and recommendation regarding the IT portfolio
Ability to understands Deloitte's major IT systems and the level of support provided for key business processes; Understands IT Management fundamentals including management concepts, IT methods and tools, architecture, business IT strategy, technology strategy, organization structures, people and skills, sourcing strategies, finance and supporting systems 
Ability to develop a basic understanding of Deloitte's IT strategy, how the strategy is being implemented within GTS and ability to ask appropriate questions. Demonstrates general understanding of S&P functions in GTS 
Ability to demonstrates an understanding PMO operational goals and how results/deliverables of the work stream will impact the organization
