Manager – Agile Scrum Master – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master with 10-13 years of proven expertise in leading agile teams, facilitating scrum ceremonies, and driving successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader, guiding teams to achieve their goals, improve productivity, and deliver high-quality results. You will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, resolving impediments, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Facilitation of Scrum Processes:
o Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
o Ensure adherence to Scrum methodology and Agile best practices.
2. Team Coaching and Development:
o Mentor team members to adopt Agile principles and improve processes.
o Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
3. Impediment Resolution:
o Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team progress.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve dependencies.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders.
o Manage expectations, communicate progress, and escalate issues as needed.
5. Performance Monitoring:
o Track team performance using Agile metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
6. Agile Transformation:
o Support organizational Agile adoption and foster a culture of agility.
o Provide training and workshops to stakeholders and team members.
7. Risk Management:
o Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
o Ensure timely delivery of deliverables while maintaining quality.

Skills Required:
1. Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
o Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
2. Leadership and Communication:
o Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
o Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
3. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges.
o Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
4. Team Collaboration:
o Ability to foster teamwork and build trust among team members.
o Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
5. Agile Expertise:
o Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices.
o Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certifications preferred.
6. Project Management Skills:
o Familiarity with project management processes and methodologies.
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Experience in Agile transformation projects and scaling Agile frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
