QA – Automation + Manual – Senior Analyst

Job Description

·       A Test Specialist is responsible for formulating the test strategy and solutions for the relevant specialized technology and domain. They provide technical leadership and direction for the testing organization pertaining to that domain/technology. Test specialist works with Business Analysts, development, and the Architect team to understand business requirements of the product. They liaison with other teams based on project requirements and provide technical guidance to the team to deliver robust integrated test solutions. A specialist understands, builds, and standardizes process and procedures towards the specialization.

·       A Test specialist works continually to develop advanced skills in their designated competency and strives to foster broader organizational maturity in these areas.  This is accomplished through mentoring, consultation and utilization across Business Solutions and is additionally facilitated via the Center of Excellence. 

Role Specific Responsibilities

·       04 to 06 years of Test Analyst experience

·       Minimum 2 + Years of TOSCA experience with detailed understanding on scripting and defining framework

·       Create & maintain Reusable test step blocks, Libraries & Recovery scenarios

·       Creation of workarounds and alternate approaches for complex test steps/work with vendor to get appropriate solutions

·       Create Execution lists and run scripts in Virtual machines using CI/CD with VSTS and DEX

·       Single point of contact for Test scripts development, maintenance, running and reporting test results.

·       Should be responsible for technical direction to test projects by enhancing test coverage and positively impacting the quality of the application.

·       Should be responsible to work with the business analyst, architect and the development lead understand the business and technical requirements of the application under test.

·       Should be able to review test strategies and plans for selected critical projects and implement solutions to improve the quality of key artifacts and/or reduce the cycle time of testing.

·       Should be responsible for defining and implementing best of breed test practices/COE, frameworks/automation approaches that improve organizational expertise, effectiveness, and\or productivity

·       Should be able to review design and provide feedback considering Testability of the Application/ Solution.

·       Should be able to contribute to the quality of the solutions by identifying issues in architecture/design and implementation.

·       Should be able to design and develop Test Automation solutions with commercial tools or harness in-house developed tools as needed.

·       Should be responsible for mentoring the team members on new processes and methods to increase efficiency or product quality.

·       Champions best practices to increase productivity or quality of the testing discipline approach internally and externally.
