SAP Netweaver – Assistant Manager - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
The SAP NetWeaver Assistant Manager is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP system landscapes utilized by the GTS-hosted SAP programs, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and overall data security and integrity. You'll manage SAP landscapes end-to-end, drive optimization, and act as a trusted advisor for cloud adoption, ensuring high availability and alignment with business goals.

- Implementation Services:
- Landscape design.
- Request and coordinate Cloud Platform (GCP, Azure) VM system builds, VIPs, firewall rules, and certificates.
- System installations, including database (HANA), SAP components and specific add-ons.
- System upgrades and migrations.
- Installation of SAP patches, Support Packages, and Notes.
- System administration, including:
- Performance & Optimization: Proactive monitoring, tuning, and optimization of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BOBJ, BODS etc.) for peak performance and stability
- Definition and verification of backup schedules.
- Client copies.
- System exports/copies/restores.
- Database maintenance (HANA, MSSQL, MaxDB)
- Security scans.
- High availability/Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
- Creating and maintaining detailed system documentation, procedures, and landscape diagrams.
- Solution Manager integration for monitoring and alerting.
- Preventive system monitoring and implementing corrective actions.
- Batch Job schedule maintenance.
- Data archival tasks.
- Component-specific maintenance for S/4HANA, Enterprise Portal, Fiori, Business Objects, Data Services, SLT, and TREX.
- Transport Management (TMS, NWDI).
- Technical support for projects and production operations.
- Coordinate activities with other NetWeaver administrators.
Technical Skills required
- Deep understanding and experience with SAP NetWeaver System Administration, including S/4HANA (ERP), Enterprise Portal, HANA platform, Solution Manager, Business Objects, Data Services, and SLT.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Failover Clustering
- Good understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Single Sign-On.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows OS environments.
- Coordination / trouble shooting skills with functional and technical resources.

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology
· 6-9 years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organization.
