Assistant Manager - Penetration Testing - Deloitte Support Services India Pvt. Ltd.

Work you’ll do
Managerial Support:
- Act as the team lead, supporting the Regional Penetration Testing Manager in managing daily operations and team activities. - Deputy
- Assist in talent evaluations, team training, and technical reviews related to penetration testing activities. - Deputy
- Collaborate with other Regional Penetration Testing Managers and Leads to ensure continuity and consistency in service delivery during the manager's absence. - Deputy
- Support the execution of special cyber and penetration testing projects as directed by the manager.
- Client Engagement & Service Delivery:
- Assist in scoping, conducting, and leading client readout calls for penetration testing engagements.
- Collaborate closely with customer service representatives to ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining team operational excellence.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to member firms, addressing technical inquiries related to penetration test results, remediation assessments, and vulnerability disclosures.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee assigned security testing activities, including:
- Software/Web Application/Web Services Penetration Testing.
- API Penetration Testing.
- Network/Infrastructure Penetration Testing.
- Mobile Application Penetration Testing.
- Thick Client Penetration Testing.
- Other advanced penetration testing methodologies as required.
- Provide technical guidance to support member firms in remediation efforts and client responses related to vulnerabilities and testing results.
- Develop and refine tools, testing configurations, and deployment processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of penetration testing practices.
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate testing analysis across various domains, enhancing the overall quality and impact of testing services.
- Continuously improve customer query and request management processes to elevate client experience and satisfaction.
- Contribute to organization-wide risk reduction initiatives through vulnerability management and service enhancement efforts.

- This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and client-facing skills to ensure high-quality penetration testing services while supporting the overarching goals of the organization.
The team
The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure, and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of security services to Deloitte’s global network of firms around the globe.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a business or cyber security domain; or relevant work experience in an appropriate field
- Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a professional environment preferably as part of an operational security function (Penetration Testing)
- Experience in any of the following platform would be highly beneficial; Burp or OWASP ZAP, Kali Linux, Nmap, Metasploit, Postman, Gobuster, Dirbuster, SQLMap, Qualys, Nesus or other relevant penetration testing tools.
- Experience with OWASP Top Ten / MITRE
- Familiarity with software security weakness and vulnerabilities
- Must be able to work under pressure and produce content to tight timelines.
- Excellent planning skills
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders, preferably on a global multi-national basis.
Work Location: Hyderabad, India
Work Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
