Position Summary
Level: Oracle FCCS Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant, you will engage in delivering Operational Support for Oracle FCCS. You will be working with diverse global clients across various industries. Your responsibilities will include addressing operational support requests. You’ll serve as the bridge between technology teams and business stakeholders, ensuring Oracle FCCS delivers optimal value to the organization’s close and consolidation functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support:
- o Provide operational support to clients across time zones in rotational/night shifts, addressing project and service delivery requests as required.
- Collaborate with business users to understand and resolve incidents, providing regular updates on the status and progress towards resolution.
- Troubleshoot technical and functional incidents, system monitoring, and perform thorough root cause analysis.
- Perform monthly patch regression tests, ensuring coverage through manual and automated processes.
- Perform and validate data migration between FCCS and integrated financial applications.
- Administer security settings and user roles for regulatory and operational compliance.
- Strong proficiency in SmartView functions to effectively support business users for reporting.
- Enhancements & Change Management:
- Gather and analyze business requirements to implement minor change management requests in accordance with the current FCCS application design.
- Understand and oversee seamless execution of integration processes using EPM Automate, Data Management/FDMEE, Data Exchange and REST API.
- Prepare/update detailed documentation in relation to existing processes, admin activities and workflows.
- Administration & Maintenance:
- Metadata maintenance, data integration, manage user provisioning, security roles, and access controls.
- Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly close activities, data loads, and backup tasks.
- Escalate persistent issues to Oracle Managed Cloud Services/Support as required.
- Maintain synchronization across all EPM environments.
- Documentation & Training:
- Contribute to team knowledge base and standard operating procedures.
- Support end-user documentation and participate in training efforts.
- Maintain and regularly update documentation, FAQs, and training materials for users.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
o Experienced in managing stakeholder expectations and fostering strong relationships to drive operational success.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 6 - 8 years’ team lead experience with deep technical and functional experience in Oracle FCC/HFM.
- Familiar with financial consolidation processes and close cycles, with working knowledge of system integrations, data migration and validation, reconciliation, and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting cloud financial applications in an managed services environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adheres to established processes in monitoring and tracking support metrics (SLAs/KPIs).
- Effective communicator and team player; able to collaborate with remote and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle FCCS Certification
- Experience using ServiceNow or other ticketing platforms.
- Basic scripting or automation experience (EPM Automate, Pipeline & OIC).
- Understanding of regulatory reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
