Position Summary
Solution Architect
As a Architect in our Financial Transformation (Finance Operate) Tech Enablement team, We are seeking a Solution Architect to sit within our Finance Operate Tech Enablement team and translate client use cases into the right implementation path—leveraging existing products/accelerators/platforms where possible, and recommending custom build, RPA (robotic process automation), AI/GenAI, or BI (business intelligence) when needed. The role owns end-to-end integration design spanning workflow automation and data/analytics, and partners with product and delivery teams to drive high-quality outcomes. This blends strategic intake, architectural rigor, and delivery leadership consistent with the Business Solution Architect / Technical Product Owner foundation

Qualifications:
Must have skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 10+ years of Proven hands-on experience, Lead structured discovery sessions to understand business processes, pain points, controls, data, and expected outcomes; translate needs into solution options and clear requirements.
- Determine best-fit approach per use case: reuse existing product/accelerator, configure, custom build, RPA, AI/GenAI, or BI/analytics (including effort, risks, dependencies, and timeline)
- Develop client-ready recommendations and articulate tradeoffs to senior stakeholders; present integrated solution approaches and value proposition
- Architect workflows across ServiceNow and other related Finance Platforms (as applicable), including intake, approvals, orchestration, exception handling, audit trails, and SLAs
- Modularize workflow components for reuse (templates, common integration patterns, standardized data contracts, shared rules/decisioning) to accelerate future engagements and improve maintainability
- Define workflow integration patterns (APIs, events, queues, batch) and non-functional requirements (security, performance, resiliency) aligned to enterprise standards
- Architect data pipelines and analytics flows end-to-end, from source ingestion through transformation, quality controls, semantic layers, and consumption
- Decide Databricks vs. BI tools such as Alteryx, based on scale, complexity, governance, persona (citizen developer vs. engineering), operationalization needs, and cost/time-to-value
- Partner with AI/analytics SMEs to evaluate fit for ML/GenAI patterns (e.g., LLM/RAG where appropriate) and ensure designs are production-ready
- Specify BI consumption patterns and standards (e.g., dashboards, operational reporting, embedded analytics), including metrics definitions and data lineage.
- Own the end-to-end integration architecture across workflow, RPA, data platforms, and BI, ensuring scalable and secure designs
- Provide technical leadership through delivery: standards, design reviews, dependency management, and implementation guidance; escalate risks/blockers proactively
- Champion Agile / Scaled Agile planning and execution practices with product and engineering teams
- Identify and mitigate delivery and technical risks; ensure solutions meet quality, security, compliance, and privacy expectations
- Define control points for finance operations use cases (access controls, approvals, segregation-of-duties considerations, auditability, data retention)
Good to have skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Demonstrated ability to act as a primary liaison across business stakeholders and technical teams, translating needs into actionable requirements and designs
- Strong grasp of modern integration and engineering practices (APIs, microservices, CI/CD, DevSecOps concepts)
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related experience.
