The Team - Supply Chain & Network Operations
The Enterprise Performance team brings rich industry experience, rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to solve clients' most complex business problems. Our professionals are aligned to the Supply chain Network operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance. The SCNO service line helps companies build lasting competitive advantage at every level of their operations across product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. We specialize in connecting high-level strategies to measurable results on the front lines.
Work you’ll do
As a Professional in our team you’ll work side by side with innovative and strategic thought leaders and stay ahead of the rapidly evolving world of business. You’ll get the training to be confident and prepared to help tackle some of our clients’ most complex business issues. You’ll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. He should have exceptional communication and analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to clients and team members and the ability to manage and lead teams independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Direct experience in MES Project Management, or MES Requirements Analysis or as a MES Solution Architecture in discrete and process manufacturing is desirable. You will work with teams and responsibilities may include:
- Contribute to the growth and development of Deloitte’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) offering.
- Conduct workshops for requirements validation, data model design and configuration validation
- Contribute individual project teams in identifying business requirements, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations
- To develop Manufacturing Operations Management (MES) solutions to meet customer needs and manage the implementation of MES projects
- Support of the sales and project implementation teams
- Work with teams to deliver system solutions for customers and participate in the entire sales cycle from proposals, support through deployment of the customers solution
- Lead customer design sessions to formulate and document customer solutions
- Provide market driven product requirements to internal teams
- Help clients innovate and transform their current business models and customer experiences, to create sustaining competitive advantage, that leverage emerging digital and cognitive technologies
- Interaction with Subject Matter Experts / plant users / various stake holders for AS-IS study of current landscape and define, design TO-BE plan for MES
- Development of Integration with systems like Plant control systems, ERP, PLM, APS, and LIMS is considered an advantage.
- Strong functional understanding of Level 3 and Level 4 systems.
- Solid knowledge on BOM, Manufacturing Work Plans, MBOM and BOP is needed.
- Good working knowledge of Database like SQL Server & SQL Store Procedures
- Provide Industry standard best practices and align Enterprise Architecture to MES Roadmap defined for the clients
- Provide technical work-around options to fill the gaps in the application/functional requirements
Required Experience
- 4 - 7 years’ work experience, preferably in a large company setting.
- 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience on Siemens products - Opcenter Discrete and MOM Connect.
- Strong hands-on experience in configuration and customization of Opcenter Discrete functionalities
- Exposure to Siemens products like DIS, Insights Hub, Opcenter Intelligence, APS is an advantage
- Exposure to Mendix is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of ISA-95/S88 standards and their application in MES design.
- Knowledge of GxP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
- Familiarity with SAP-MES integration and Level 2 automation systems.
- Strong experience with Java and C# .NET, Oracle / SQL Database
- Restful API and Webservices development experience
- MES to ERP integration; Ability to travel 40-60%
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Able to multi-task multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Quality Management, Dispatch Management, Scheduling, WIP Tracking, Resource Tracking, Maintenance Management, etc.
- In touch with industry 4.0 trends, with emerging digital supply networks and exponential technologies, with industry automation tools and where the market and technology are pointing
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
Qualifications Required:
- Undergraduate degree/Professional Degree, with First Class/Distinction in B Tech or B E
- MCA/M Tech/MSc
