Position Summary
Level: Strategy Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
As a Consultant in Deloitte’s Supply chain & Network Operations team, you will:
Drive business model and customer experience transformation using digital, AI, and cognitive technologies
Conduct AS-IS assessments; design TO-BE landscapes and implementation roadmaps
Architect solutions for supply chain projects, ensuring business alignment
Guide project teams and deliver clear status updates to leadership
Lead automotive software lifecycle management from planning to decommissioning
Optimize development processes (ASPICE, Agile, V-Model, SAFe) for quality and speed
Liaise across engineering, product, QA, and partners for lifecycle alignment
Ensure regulatory compliance (ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/156, ASPICE)
Manage risks in software development, focusing on cybersecurity and safety
Champion continuous improvement and technology adoption
Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress reports

1-3 years of automotive software experience: Hands-on expertise in software development and lifecycle management within the automotive sector.
In-depth technical knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of automotive software architectures, embedded systems, and OTA update mechanisms.
Process optimization experience: Proven ability to enhance development processes, manage configuration, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
amiliarity with standards: Working knowledge of automotive cybersecurity, functional safety (ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434), and ASPICE frameworks.
Good to have Skills:
Consulting experience: Prior exposure to consulting environments supports client engagement and project delivery.
Model-based development and AUTOSAR: Experience with these methodologies and platforms is beneficial.
Cloud-connected vehicle platforms: Familiarity with modern automotive connectivity solutions adds value.
Relevant certifications: Credentials such as TÜV Functional Safety Engineer, PMP, or SAFe demonstrate commitment to professional excellence.
Exposure to emerging technologies: Awareness of industry trends and innovative tools further strengthens consulting effectiveness.
Education:
MBA, MS or PhD from a leading school in India or abroad
