Position Summary
Level: Oracle Retail Technical – Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
Collaborate with team members to understand business processes and technical requirements, lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Retail RICEW components, batch programs, BI reports, and ADF forms using SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, and UNIX Shell Scripts. Own technical solutioning, provide architectural guidance, and independently engage with business stakeholders throughout all phases of Oracle Retail implementation projects. Mentor and train team members, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and client objectives. Tech Team members will not do - testing, and user training activities, but will do - code development and unit testing.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail implementation, upgrade, or support projects, with deep expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, Shell scripting, and analytical problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining technical FRICEW objects.
- Proven leadership in at least two Oracle Retail modules such as RMS (MFCS), ReIM (IMCS), ReSA (SACS), RTM, RPM (PCS), Allocations, RIB (RICS), XStore, RPAS, RDF, AIP, or MFP.
- Strong understanding of Oracle implementation methodologies (e.g., AIM) and industry-leading practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to independently engage with senior business stakeholders and articulate complex technical solutions.
- Experience providing technical training, mentorship, and guidance to teams.
- Ability to make quick decisions and solve complex technical problems to ensure efficient project delivery.Certification: Oracle Retail or relevant Oracle Cloud certification preferred.
- Oracle RICE development (e.g., Reports-BI Publisher, OIC Integrations, VBCS/APEX Extensions, FBDIs etc.)
- Exposure to additional Oracle technologies (ODI, OBIEE, OCI), Informatica and Oracle Cloud (SaaS).
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Technical RICEW components and basic integration tasks using Oracle Fusion Middleware/SOA Suite
- Understand Oracle Cloud basic module functionality (RTR, P2P), Lookups, tech related Setup and Maintenance Activities/ESS Jobs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Exposure to additional Oracle technologies (ODI, OBIEE, OCI), Informatica and Oracle Cloud (SaaS) Oracle Retail Cloud Infrastructure.
- Exposure to large-scale transformation projects and cloud migration strategies.
