Position Summary

Level: Oracle Retail Technical - Consultant

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

Collaborate with team members to understand business processes and technical requirements, lead the design and development of Oracle Retail RICEW components, batch programs, BI reports, and ADF forms using SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, and UNIX Shell Scripts. Provide technical direction, mentor team members, and independently engage with business stakeholders throughout all phases of Oracle Retail implementation projects. Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and client requirements. Tech Team members will not do - testing, and user training activities, but will do - code development and unit testing.

You’ll join Deloitte’s Oracle Enterprise Solutions team, which specializes in ERP and Cloud Strategy, Business Transformation, and Applications Implementation. The team modernizes client environments by leveraging technology innovations in Cloud, Digital, Mobility, and Social Collaboration, delivering scalable and cost-effective solutions for leading organizations.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail implementation, upgrade, or support projects, with strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, Shell scripting, and analytical problem-solving.
Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining technical FRICEW objects.
Experience working with at least two Oracle Retail modules such as RMS (MFCS), ReIM (IMCS), ReSA (SACS), RTM, RPM (PCS), Allocations, RIB (RICS), XStore, RPAS, RDF, AIP, or MFP.
Strong understanding of Oracle implementation methodologies (e.g., AIM).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to independently engage with business stakeholders and articulate technical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical training and mentorship to team members.
Oracle RICE development (e.g., Reports-BI Publisher, OIC Integrations, VBCS/APEX Extensions, FBDIs etc.)
Understand Oracle Cloud basic module functionality (RTR, P2P), Lookups, tech related Setup and Maintenance Activities/ESS Jobs
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

Exposure to additional Oracle technologies (ODI, OBIEE, OCI), Informatica and Oracle Cloud (SaaS) Oracle Retail Cloud Infrastructure.
Exposure to industry-leading retail practices and solution derivation.
