Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.
Work you’ll do:
Leverage proficiency in adjacent technologies beyond core skills to enhance project outcomes. Proactively identify and communicate issues or risks to team leaders, and complete assigned technology learning on schedule. Quickly adapt to project-specific tools and gain understanding of client business processes or industry fundamentals. Support process improvements, automation, and innovation while maintaining up-to-date project documentation. Contribute to tracking delivery metrics and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on processes and technology trends. Participate in team building, defect management, and compliance activities. Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and actively engage in ideation and development of tools, accelerators, and innovative solutions.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills and Project Experience:
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in C# and ASP.NET Core skills, experienced in developing high-performing .NET applications using React.
- Core C#/ .Net Full Stack Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in C# with .NET Core / .NET 6+, with solid grounding in object-oriented design principles, SOLID patterns, and clean coding practices, including identifying design flaws in existing codebases and refactoring toward maintainable solutions.
- Well-versed in core .NET concepts including exception handling, collections, async/await, multithreading, task-based parallelism, and memory management.
- Ability to design and implement efficient, secure, and maintainable backend services, evaluate multiple solution approaches, and justify design decisions considering performance and security trade-offs.
- .NET Core, Enterprise & Data persistence Frameworks
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, including clear service boundary design, effective inter-service communication, and data consistency patterns.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+, leveraging minimal APIs or controller-based APIs, and applying API design best practices.
- Strong expertise in .NET Core application design, including dependency injection, middleware pipelines, configuration management, logging, resiliency patterns, and API versioning.
- Experience implementing security and cloud-native patterns using modern .NET capabilities, including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT-based authentication, and policy-based authorization.
- Strong understanding of data persistence, including SQL/RDBMS (and NoSQL where applicable), normalization, complex query troubleshooting, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience implementing data access using Entity Framework Core, including LINQ, change tracking, transaction management, and performance-aware query design.
- Practical experience selecting between full ORM (EF Core) and micro-ORM approaches (e.g., Dapper) based on performance, scalability, and use-case requirements.
- Proven ability in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging, including writing unit tests (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest), identifying performance bottlenecks, and resolving production issues with minimal hand-holding.
- Strong focus on transactional integrity, data consistency, and performance optimization in high-throughput systems.
React
- 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in React
- Strong hands-on experience building scalable and production-grade React applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong understanding of React fundamentals, including JSX, component lifecycle, hooks, rendering behaviour, and component composition
- Experience implementing state management and data-fetching patterns, using Context API and modern state libraries ( e.g., Redux Toolkit/Zustand/Recoil ) based on application complexity.
- Strong UI engineering fundamentals including HTML/ CSS, responsive design, accessibility considerations and cross-browser compatibility
- Hands-on experience integrating React applications with backend services via RESTful APIs (GraphQL where applicable), including contract-driven integration ( OpenAPI/Swagger), pagination, error handling
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization flows in the UI using OAuth2/OIDC and JWT, including route protection, secure token handling, and role-based UI behavior.
- Strong testing and debugging skills with unit/component testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing (Cypress/Playwright), ensuring stability and maintainability.
- Experience with React performance optimization, including code splitting, lazy loading, memoization strategies, and efficient rendering of large data sets
AZURE cloud
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating full-stack .NET Core applications on Azure, leveraging cloud-native services and managed platforms.
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, and Azure Functions, with the ability to choose appropriate compute models for .NET microservices and UI-backed APIs.
- Experience exposing and managing RESTful APIs using Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure Application Gateway, including integration with React frontends.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL / PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB, including data modeling, performance tuning, and transactional integrity.
- Experience implementing security using Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), Managed Identities, Key Vault, NSGs, and private networking concepts.
- Experience deploying React applications using Azure Static Web Apps or Blob Storage + Azure CDN, including environment configuration and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions for .NET and UI applications.
- Experience with Docker and AKS for containerized .NET microservices and frontend workloads.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, centralized logging, metrics, alerts, and production troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose production issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability with minimal hand-holding.
