Position Summary
Level: Consultant or equivalent
We are seeking a talented Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI agents capable of autonomous reasoning, decision-making, and self-directed task execution. This role requires expertise in modern AI architecture, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and the ethical deployment of agentic AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intelligent systems that drive business value and innovation.
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.
Work you’ll do:
Leverage proficiency in adjacent technologies beyond core skills to enhance project outcomes. Proactively identify and communicate issues or risks to team leaders, and complete assigned technology learning on schedule. Quickly adapt to project-specific tools and gain understanding of client business processes or industry fundamentals. Support process improvements, automation, and innovation while maintaining up-to-date project documentation. Contribute to tracking delivery metrics and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on processes and technology trends. Participate in team building, defect management, and compliance activities. Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and actively engage in ideation and development of tools, accelerators, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Development: Architect, build, and optimize agentic AI systems (e.g., autonomous agents, multi-agent frameworks, LLM-powered agents). Integrate agentic AI solutions with existing enterprise platforms and workflows.
• Research and Experimentation: Evaluate emerging agentic AI models, frameworks, and toolkits. Prototype and benchmark agentic AI solutions for scalability, robustness, and safety.
• Deployment and Monitoring: Deploying agentic AI agents in production environments, ensuring reliability and performance. Monitor agent behaviors, diagnose anomalies, and refine agent policies as needed. Developed feedback loops for continuous agent improvement.
• Ethics and Governance: Ensure agentic AI solutions comply with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Knowledge of developing Gen AI or AI/ML solutions from use case to production and an understanding of agentic or autonomous systems.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure and DevOps related to Gen AI Use case deployments including Cloud environments, LLM Hosting, CICD deployments, docker and Kubernetes clusters.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• Proficiency in Python development and FastAPI/Flask framework along with SQL
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and concepts - LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Model Context Protocol (MCP), LLMs, Chain of Thought prompting, knowledge store, embeddings
• Autonomous agent development using cloud-based AI services.
• Prompt engineering techniques and fine-tuning.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying AI solutions at scale.
Education:
• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
