Position Summary 

 

Level: Consultant or equivalent 

 

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.   

 

Work you’ll do:  

 

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation. 

 

Qualifications 

 

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:  

 

  • Minimum of 3 – 6 years of experience in CI/CD orchestrator tools Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Gitlab, Bamboo. 

  • Handson experience in Infrastructure as a code using Terraform, Pulumi, AWS Cloud formation templates or ARM Templates, Ansible to setup tools and services 

  • Having hands-on experience in scripting in YAML, JSON, Groovy, Shell, PowerShell 

  • Experience in container orchestration using Docker, Docker swarm, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher 

  • Experience in deploying microservices in Kubernetes environments and writing orchestration files. 

  • Good understanding of different branching strategies suitable for different release strategies. 

  • Experience in managing monitoring tools leveraging either of Dynatrace/Splunk/Data Dog/App Dynamics 

  • Ability to quickly learn and deliver on new technologies not previously experienced. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project. 

  • Having good understanding on either of the Cloud Platforms AWS/Azure/GCP to integrate with applications 

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:  

 

  • Understanding and hands-on experience on implementing Observability capabilities using Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, ELK Stack, Splunk 

  • Understanding and hands-on experience on implementing SRE capabilities like implementing SLO/SLI, Tol, Error budgeting, Auto-remediation/Auto-healing capabilities, Application Performance and reliability 

 

 

Education:  

 

  • BE/B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
